Abstract

849,516. Slip couplings. GELENKWELLENBAU G.m.b.H. Dec. 10, 1958 [Feb. 4, 1958], No. 39789/58. Class 80 (2). An overload slip clutch comprises rollers 5 housed in recesses in a clutch part 1 which are engaged by members 6 mounted radially in a second clutch part 2 so as to yield an overload. The members 6 are urged outwardly by springs 7 acting through thrust collars 8, 9, the tension of the springs being adjustable by a bolt 11 and a nut 12 which is adjustable in the part 2.
