Abstract

Fauteuil roulant Un fauteuil roulant (10) comprend un châssis (12) rigide, deux roues principales, au moins une roue avant, une assise et une cage d’assise (24). Le châssis comporte deux flancs latéraux reliés par un longeron (44) sur lequel les roues principales sont montées pivotantes, une distance séparant les deux flancs latéraux étant fixe. L’assise est attachée à la cage d’assise, qui comprend une aile gauche et une aile droite (92), et une largeur de la cage d’assise est réglable. L’aile gauche et l’aile droite comprennent chacune une barre de siège (94) et une barre de dossier (96). L’assise comprend un siège (20), maintenu entre les barres de siège, et un dossier, maintenu entre les barres de dossier. Chaque barre de siège porte deux cavaliers (118, 120), la cage d’assise étant maintenue sur le châssis par l’intermédiaire des cavaliers.
