Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un moule de formage (10) de matériau composite comprenant une empreinte positive (12) et une empreinte négative (14) adaptées à être entraînées l’une vers l’autre tandis qu’une plaque d’un matériau composite thermoplastique ramollie (46) est engagée entre lesdites empreintes pour pouvoir presser ladite plaque de manière à former une pièce en creux (58) présentant un fond (60) et un bord (61). Ladite empreinte négative (14) comprend une partie centrale négative (22) et une partie périphérique négative (24) mobile en translation par rapport à ladite partie centrale négative (22). Et ladite partie centrale négative (22) et ladite partie périphérique négative (24) sont adaptées à être entraînées successivement en translation de manière à presser ladite plaque (46) pour former ledit fond (60), tandis que ladite partie périphérique négative (24) vient former ledit bord (61) après que ledit fond (60) a été pressé.
