Abstract

L’invention concerne un afficheur (2) tête-haute comportant une unité de génération d’images (3) comportant un écran (4) duquel émerge un faisceau lumineux (6), et un système optique de projection (7, 8), adapté pour projeter le faisceau lumineux sortant de l’écran vers une lame (9) partiellement transparente de manière à former, par réflexion par la lame, une image virtuelle (10) de l’écran, l’image virtuelle étant visible par un individu (11) lorsque celui-ci place au moins un de ses yeux (12) au niveau d’une pupille de sortie (13) de l’afficheur. Selon l’invention, l’afficheur comprend en outre un masque (17) situé entre l’unité de génération d’images et la lame, le masque étant percé d’une ouverture (18) formant diaphragme d’ouverture de l’afficheur.
