Abstract

L'invention propose une installation de traitement d'un effluent industriel chargé en aluminium en vue d'en éliminer tout ou partie de l'aluminium dissous, qui comprend : -une première zone (1) où arrive l'effluent à traiter, première zone par exemple constituée par un bassin, première zone où l'on maintient un pH inférieur à 9,5, et plus préférentiellement compris entre 6,5 et 8,5, et encore plus préférentiellement compris entre 7 et 8, de façon à favoriser la formation de cristaux d'aluminium sous forme d'hydroxyde d'aluminium et faciliter ainsi son élimination; - une seconde zone (10) où est effectuée une injection de CO2 gazeux, -des moyens (2) permettant d'organiser la recirculation d'une partie du milieu localisé dans la zone 1 vers la zone 2 puis de là son retour dans la zone 1, ladite partie recirculée recevant l'injection de CO2 ; et -des moyens (6) permettant l'évacuation des particules solides formées dans la zone 1 et leur séparation ultérieure.
