Abstract

Ce véhicule ferroviaire (V) comprend un dispositif embarqué (42) de contrôle automatique du véhicule ferroviaire propre à communiquer avec une infrastructure au sol (36). L'infrastructure au sol (36) est propre à transmettre au véhicule ferroviaire un message de commande de déplacement du véhicule ferroviaire et comprend un système de supervision (ATS). Le dispositif embarqué (42) est configuré pour fonctionner, suite à la détection d'une panne de la communication avec le système de supervision (ATS), suivant un mode de fonctionnement dégradé, dans lequel le dispositif embarqué (42) commande le déplacement du véhicule jusqu'à une station d'échange de passagers suivante (S1, S2, S3) si le véhicule se trouve entre deux stations d'échange de passagers et maintient le véhicule à l'arrêt en station d'échange de passagers (S1, S2, S3) pendant une première durée prédéterminée si le véhicule est arrêté à une station d'échange de passagers.
