Abstract

Une unité de rétroéclairage inclut un logement ayant une ouverture dans laquelle est disposé un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides, une source de lumière disposée à l'intérieur du logement, et un organe optique disposé à l'intérieur du logement, pointant un chemin de lumière provenant de la source de lumière vers le dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides, et ayant une portion de prisme triangulaire constituée d'un matériau translucide. La portion de prisme comporte une première paroi latérale servant de paroi d'entrée sur laquelle la lumière provenant de la source de lumière est incidente, une autre paroi latérale en tant que paroi de sortie émettant une lumière vers le dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides, et encore une autre paroi latérale en tant que paroi réfléchissante réfléchissant la lumière incidente sur la paroi d'entrée vers la paroi de sortie à l'intérieur de la portion de prisme.
