Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de détection d'une présence à proximité d'un capteur monté dans un véhicule automobile, ledit procédé comprenant : une pluralité d'étapes (E5A, E5B, E5C, E5D) de conversion, à une pluralité de valeurs différentes de la tension de référence (Vref1, Vref2, Vref3, Vref4), d'un signal de tension analogique en une pluralité de valeurs numériques codées (N1, N2, N3, N4) différentes ; une étape de corrélation desdites valeurs numériques codées (N1, N2, N3, N4) permettant d'obtenir une valeur de corrélation (N) ; une étape de comparaison de la valeur de corrélation (N) obtenue avec une valeur de référence prédéterminée (Nref) ; une étape de détection d'une présence humaine à proximité du capteur lorsque la différence entre la valeur de corrélation (N) obtenue et la valeur de référence (Nref) prédéterminée est supérieure à un seuil de détection prédéterminé.
