Abstract

The apparatus (1) has a cooking compartment (4) located on front of the apparatus, delimited by a grid (13) on the level of a rear part of the apparatus and surmounted by a cap (5). The compartment has a receiving frame (9) to receive cooking grids (10), mounted horizontally in pivoting manner on 180 degrees and placed in two vertical positions to allow exposing of each face of the grids to a coal bed. The receiving frame is movable with respect to the coal bed between a proximal position and a distal position that is distal from the coal bed.

Description

La présente invention concerne un appareil de cuisson de type barbecue, fermé et à cuisson verticale. Les barbecues fermés existants ont pour inconvénient d'avoir la source de chaleur au dessous du gril. De ce fait, les graisses des aliments qui fondent lors de la cuisson tombent sur les braises ou les brûleurs et s'enflamment, ce qui provoque des gaz cancérigènes (benzopyrène). Certains barbecues sont munis de déflecteurs pour éviter ce phénomène. Ces déflecteurs, placés juste au dessus de la source de chaleur, sont élevés en température et lorsque le jus tombe dessus, cela provoque généralement une épaisse fumée non moins nocive. En outre et surtout, lorsque l'on utilise du charbon de bois ou du bois comme combustible, il faut attendre le moment précis ou les braises sont parfaitement constituées pour commencer la cuisson, et il est impossible de rajouter du combustible pendant la cuisson des aliments sans retirer ces-derniers de l'appareil de cuisson. Dans les barbecues fermés existant, généralement à cuisson horizontale, lorsqu'une pièce de viande est cuite au gril, il est nécessaire d'ouvrir le capot à maintes reprises, soit pour vérifier le dosage de la cuisson, soit pour retourner la ou les pièces de viande, avec dans ce cas un risque de brûlures pour les mains. Il n'est en outre pas possible d'ajouter du combustible pendant la cuisson. Sur les barbecues verticaux existants, le foyer et le compartiment de cuisson comprenant le gril sont à l'air libre. Ainsi, toute possibilité de régulation du tirage est exclue et, de ce fait, la consommation de bois ou de charbon de bois est importante. La présente invention vise à remédier à ces différents inconvénients. A cet effet, l'appareil concerné comprend, selon l'invention, un caisson composé de deux compartiments distincts séparés par une grille de rétention de braises s'étendant verticalement, à savoir : - un compartiment foyer situé sur l'arrière de l'appareil, destiné à recevoir le combustible, ce compartiment s'étendant verticalement en étant délimité, au niveau de sa partie avant, par ladite grille de rétention de braises, et étant surmonté d'un capot de fermeture possédant au moins une sortie d'évacuation des fumées ; - un compartiment de cuisson situé sur l'avant de l'appareil, délimité, au niveau de sa partie arrière, par ladite grille de rétention de braises, et étant surmonté d'un capot de fermeture, ce compartiment de cuisson comprenant un cadre de réception, apte à recevoir des grilles de cuisson, monté pivotant horizontalement sur au moins 180 degrés et pouvant être placé dans deux positions sensiblement verticales permettant d'exposer chacune de ses faces au foyer, ledit cadre étant mobile par rapport au foyer entre des positons de rapprochement et d'éloignement de ce foyer.
