Ce réservoir surélevé dont le niveau est maintenu constant par l'action d'un robinet flotteur comporte une autre soupape dont l'ouverture, commandée par l'usager au moyen d'une manette placée du côté opposé à celle de la douche anale, alimente un conduit logé dans la gaine de distribution de l'eau dans la cuvette et qui débouche dans la partie avant de ladite cuvette. Son orifice de sortie s'inscrit dans le plan médian vertical de l'appareil et le jet est 20 dirigé vers l'intérieur de la cuvette.
