[Class 26] In a bidet or closet having bidet attachments in which a movable jet-pipe is fitted on either side of the vessel for supplying respectively warm water and warm air, the pipes are not only capable of being swung about a fixed point, but may also be moved as desired so that the jets may be brought to any desired point. In one form, adapted for attachment to an existing closet, the pipes 4, 5, Fig. 1, are pivoted at 10, 11 to arms 6, 12, pivoted at 7, 13 and are provided with handles 9, 16. The joint 7 is connected to a water-supply-pipe 8 and is in the form of a tap opened and closed by the movements of the arm 6; a further tap is provided at 10. The seat is normally maintained slightly raised and when depressed closes the circuit of a heater 18, Fig. 4, provided with an automatic temperature control and supplied from a tank or the ordinary cistern 17. When the arm 12 is moved, the circuit of a hot air blower 15 may be also closed. In another form, Fig. 3, pipes 25, 26 are pivoted to arms 21, 22 and may be accommodated in recesses 20 and the joints 23, 24 may serve to turn on the supply of water and air through pipes 8, 14<1>. Return springs such as 30, 31, Fig. 1, are provided.
