Abstract

The bag (10), made e.g. from multi-layer paper and plastic and comprising two sides (14, 16) and optionally pleated ends (18, 19), has a top closure (12) in the form of two folds and an adhesive surface. The closure has a perforated line (22) that allows an end section (21) to be unrolled to form a pouring spout. After the spout has been used it can be re-folded and stuck down with an adhesive label (40) with a repositionable portion (41) on the side of the bag. Before first use the label can have a protective layer over its repositionable portion.

Description

BAG WITH QUICK OPENING AND REPOSITIONABLE CLOSING.

  The present invention relates to a quick opening and closing bag

repositionable by folding / gluing.

  The bags closed by folding / gluing are very widespread in the field of packaging, they make it possible to condition loose materials, in particular fluent, pulverulent or granular materials. These bags generally consist of a flexible envelope, formed from a tube of which one end, the bottom, is closed, while the other

  end is closed only after filling.

  The envelope can be produced from sheets of various materials, for example paper, cotton, or plastic, paper bags being preferably used because of their lower cost and their ability to

be recycled.

  These paper bags can be multilayer, that is to say made from several sheets of paper joined together to form the different skins of the envelope. The internal skin can optionally be produced from a plastic film in order to reinforce the tightness of the bag. In order to provide greater filling volume, the sides of the bags may include

bellows.

  Realizations of bags with repositionable closure exist and in particular bags comprising devices with plastic rails

  nestable either directly or by a sliding pressure closure.

  These devices are expensive and are not well suited to bags

mostly paper.

  An example of a bag closed by folding gluing is known from document FR 2 778 638. According to one embodiment, this bag uses a closing device by folding / gluing with a stepped area, one of the sides of the bag longer than the 'other forming once unfolded a flap which, with the help of multiple bonding areas on various sides of the flap using repositionable adhesives, allows to close the bag after use. This device makes it necessary to cut the bag according to a complex geometry and to distribute glues of

  different features on the flap areas.

  The present invention aims to improve the repositionable closure device and to adapt it to a simpler bag embodiment without stepped flap by proposing a bag with quick opening and repositionable closure, simple, at a reduced cost, the opening allowing control and direct

easily flow the product.

  To this end, the subject of the invention is a bag with quick opening and repositionable closure, comprising a first flank and a second flank, a bottom, optionally bellows disposed between the flanks, and comprising a closure with at least two folds and at minus a bonding, comprising a pre-cut line, substantially parallel to the lateral edges of the bag, the pre-cut line defining a portion of rapid opening, conformable as a pouring spout, and in that it comprises a label close to the quick opening portion, at least part of the label called repositionable part comprising a repositionable adhesive zone, the quick opening portion and the label constituting a repositionable closure by mutual bonding of said repositionable part and the portion opening

  quickly folded down on one side of the bag.

  In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the label is attached to the bag and comprises on at least a portion of its rear face

  a zone of strong adhesive sticking the label on the bag.

  Preferably, the length of the pre-cut line is less than the distance between the upper edge of the bag and the most distant fold line

of this edge.

  Advantageously, the repositionable adhesive used to achieve the

  closure is a repositionable hot-melt adhesive.

  1 5 In Figure 1, there is shown a bag 10 with closure 12 by double folding and simple bonding. In known manner, the bag 10 comprises a first flank 14 and a second flank 16 which are optionally connected by two lateral bellows 18, and comprises a bottom 20. This bag 10 forms an envelope which can include one or more skins depending on the mechanical strength of the desired bag. In some cases, the bag comprises at least one paper skin and an internal skin produced from a plastic film, not shown, in order to give the bag better mechanical strength and

  especially a better seal.

  The closure 12 is carried out by a first folding of a first band 31 called upper and a second folding of a second band 32 contiguous to the first, in the same direction as the first folding, the first band 31 is

  finding between the wall of the bag and the second strip being glued to the bag.

  The closure is described in detail in FIG. 6. The strip 32 forms a first flap which comprises the flanks 32a which extends the flank 16 and the flank 32b which extends the flank 14. The strip 32 is followed by the strip 31 forming a second flap which includes the sides 31a ending the side 16 and 31 b ending the side 14. The side 31a is glued with a thickness of glue 50 on

flank 14.

  Folding is carried out so that the closure is sufficiently

  tight so as not to make a too large bead.

  According to the invention, the closure 1 2 comprises a rapid opening portion 21. This rapid opening portion located & near one side of the bag is delimited by a cutting primer 22 making it possible to tear the bag easily along line 22 during from the first opening. This cutting edge is perpendicular to the strips 31 and 32. It consists of a slit cut on the sides 14, 16, parallel to the lateral edges of the sides, slightly offset towards the center of the bag relative to the bottom 30 (visible in dotted lines at Figure 1) of the bellows 1 8, the slot being astride the first fold line between the first strip 31 and the second strip 32. The slot, constituting cutting edge, is produced according to an appropriate process and should advantageously not reach the top of the second strip 32 for

  keep the closure 1 2 tight.

  Figures 2, 3, 4 show the opening sequence of the bag. This starts with the bag closed by pulling upwards on the folded strip part on the outside of the bag. At this time, the cutting leader makes it possible to tear a portion of the folded strips. While continuing to pull, the glued area peels off, which makes it possible to unfold a reduced portion of the folded area 21 of the closure 1 2 to create a flap 24 and constitute an opening 25 possibly shaped as a spout. This component 24 consists of the two parts of

  bands 31 and 32 located between the lateral end of the bag and the tear.

  The label includes a rear side 44 on the bag side and a front side

(outside side).

  According to one embodiment of the invention, the label 40 is attached to the bag 10 and includes on its rear face 44 not only a zone of strong adhesive (in the lower part of the label) sticking the label to the bag 10 but also a repositionable adhesive zone in the upper part 41 of the label. Thus the label comprises a rear face comprising a first zone called the lower zone 42 provided with a strong adhesive sticking the label to the bag and a second zone known as the upper zone 41 provided with a repositionable adhesive capable of sticking to the portion quick opening folded on a side of the bag. In this case, to close the opening 24, the user pushes the bottom part 30 of the bellows between the sides 14 and 16, flattens the sides of the opening, lifts the part 41 of the label 40 provided with a repositionable adhesive, fold the flap 24 on the side of the bag where the label is located and stick part 41 of the label on the folded flap 24. This closed position

is shown in Figure 5.

  According to an alternative embodiment, the label 40, attached to the bag 10 comprises on all of its rear face 44 a zone of strong adhesive sticking the label to the bag 10. The repositionable part of the label is then part of the front face of the label receiving the quick opening portion folded over a side of the bag. In this case, before first use it is advantageous to cover the front of the label with a protective film

peelable 60.

  According to this second embodiment, to close the opening 24, the user pushes the bottom part 30 of the bellows between the sides 1 4 and 1 6, flattens the sides of the opening, removes the protective film 60 which puts up to date the external face of the label 40 provided with a repositionable adhesive, flap the flap 24 on the side of the bag where the label is located, the folded flap 24 then sticks to the external part provided with the repositionable adhesive of the label. The label 40 can optionally be provided with a tab 43 not provided with adhesive making it possible to catch the label in order to lift it, the zone 42

  being it an area provided with an adhesive ensuring a strong hold on the bag.

  This rapid opening with repositionable closure allows for a lower cost to obtain a pouring spout 34 which allows in particular to control

  and easily direct the flow of product.

  The label 40 may be transparent or bear indications for its use. Furthermore, the invention applies in particular to bags provided

  handles 45, 46 glued to the outside of the bag.

Claims (8)

R E V E N D I C A T I 0 N S   1 - Bag (10) with quick opening and repositionable closure, comprising a first flank (14) and a second flank (16), a bottom (20), lateral edges optionally with bellows (18, 19) disposed between the flanks, characterized in that it comprises a closure (12) with at least two folds and at least one collage, comprising a pre-cut line (22), substantially parallel to the side edges of the bag, the pre-cut line defining a portion d '' rapid opening (21) conformable into a spout (25), and in that it comprises a label (40) near the rapid opening portion, at least part of the label called repositionable part (41) comprising a repositionable adhesive zone, the rapid opening portion and the label constituting a repositionable closure by mutual bonding of said repositionable part of the label and the portion   quick opening folded on a side of the bag.   2 - Bag according to claim 1 characterized in that the label (40) is attached to the bag (10) and comprises on at least a portion of one side   rear (44) a zone of strong adhesive sticking the label to the bag (10).   3 - Bag according to one of claims 1 or 2 characterized in that   the length of the pre-cut line (22) is less than the distance separating   the upper edge of the bag and the fold line farthest from this edge.   4 - Bag according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that   that the repositionable adhesive used to make the closure is an adhesive repositionable hot melt.   - Bag according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that that it is provided with handles (45, 46).   6 - Bag according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that   that the label includes a tab (43) devoid of adhesive.   7 - Bag according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that   that said repositionable part of the label is part of a front face of   the label receiving the quick opening portion folded over a side of the bag.   8 - Bag according to claim 7 characterized in that the front face   the label is covered with a peelable protective film (60).   9 - Bag according to one of claims 1 to 6 characterized in that   the label comprises a rear face comprising a first zone called the lower zone 42 provided with a strong adhesive sticking the label to the bag and a second zone known as the upper zone 41 provided with a repositionable adhesive   able to stick to the quick opening portion folded over a side of the bag.
