Description

The present invention relates to the field of bags or bags comprising, at their mouths, means allowing multiple closures / openings on demand, in particular based on complementary closure profiles.

Many bags of the aforementioned type have already been proposed.

In particular, there have been proposed many bags equipped at their mouths with a multiple closure / opening system comprising two complementary sections, for example of the male / female type or based on complementary hooks.

The bags or bags thus known lend themselves to automatic manufacture and filling.

However, in many cases it is desirable to have bags or bags adapted for manual filling and closing, while meeting conventional criteria of reasonable cost, reliability and simplicity of implementation.

The document US 5,672,009 describes for example a plastic bag comprising a first closure means comprising a web provided with a longitudinal line of perforations and a profile. The web is fixed, at its upper part to the perforation line, to a wall of the bag, while the profile extends longitudinally on the free end of the web, and a complementary section of the closure profile is disposed on a wall of the bag, facing the profile of the closure means.

All the attempts so far proposed to solve the problem thus posed have not given complete satisfaction.

The present invention provides a bag comprising two main sheets defining a bag body and a multiple closing / opening means at the mouth of the bag, characterized in that the multiple closing / opening means is fixed permanently on the bag. one of the main sheets of the bag, close to its mouth and that further comprises permanent gluing means adapted to allow to manually paste on demand the second main leaf of the bag body on the closing / opening means and that each strip of permanent glue is coated with a removable protector.

Essentially the sachets according to the present invention comprise a bag body 10 provided at its mouth with a multiple closure / opening means 20.

The bag body 10 and the multiple closing / opening means may be subject in themselves to numerous variants.

The bag body 10 is formed essentially of two main sheets 12, 14 interconnected on three sides, one parallel to the mouth and the other two perpendicular to it.

The two sheets 12, 14 may initially be independent, in which case the two sheets 12, 14 are connected together by gluing or welding on the three aforementioned sides.

The two sheets 12, 14 can be formed from a common film folded on itself. When the closing / opening means 20 provided at the mouth of the bag is arranged parallel to the longitudinal direction of the film, the aforementioned fold defined between the sheets 12, 14 is parallel to the closing / opening means 20 and constitutes the bottom of the bag as illustrated in the accompanying figures under the reference 13.

When, on the contrary, the closing / opening means defining the mouth of the bag is arranged transversely to the longitudinal direction of the film constituting the sheets 12, 14, the fold defined between them extends perpendicularly to the closing / opening means. supra.

The sheets 12, 14 may be made of any suitable known material. They are preferably made of thermo plastic materials, polyethylene or polypropylene. However, the invention is not limited to this particular provision. It encompasses all types of materials, including all composite materials.

The multiple closing / opening means 20 can also be the subject of numerous alternative embodiments.

Preferably this multiple closing / opening means 20 comprises two supporting webs 22, 24 respectively supporting a closing element 23, 25, such as a complementary male element and a female element, or any equivalent structure, for example based on hooks.

The multiple closing / opening means 20 may be attached and secured to one of the main sheets, by welding, as illustrated in FIGS. Figures 1-4 and 6-12 . Alternatively, the means of Multiple closure / opening 20 may be material on one of the main leaflets 12 of the bag body. We illustrated on the figure 5 such an alternative embodiment in which the multiple closure / opening means 20 is integral on the end of the sheet 12 and folded thereon by folding at a fold line referenced 26. Of course the present invention is not limited to this particular provision.

As we see on the Figures 1-7 , 11 and 12 preferably the two webs 22 and 24 closing / opening means 20 are initially interconnected at a connecting zone 28 serving as an opening control.

In itself such closing / opening means are well known to those skilled in the art. When a user wishes to access the content of the bag, once it filled and closed, it must break the connecting strip 28. This rupture serves as a first opening witness.

The accompanying figures show an arrangement of the multiple closing / opening means 20 such that the connecting strip 28 is disposed on the inside of the bag with respect to the closing profiles 23, 25. An opposite disposition can be retained. In other words, the connecting strip 28 may be provided on the outside of the bag with respect to the complementary closure profiles 23, 25.

We also represented on the figure 4 an alternative embodiment of a bag according to the present invention according to which the multiple closing / opening means 20 is equipped with a slider 30.

The known function of such a cursor is to facilitate the opening and closing of the means 20 by the user.

Many slider structures are known to those skilled in the art and are compatible with the present invention.

It is recalled that most often, the slider 30 is formed of a base 32 provided with two lateral flanks 34 and a central wall 38 outlined on the figure 4 . The wall 38 defined in combination with the lateral flanks 34 36 two non-parallel channels which respectively receive one of the closure profiles 23,25. When the cursor 30 is moved in a first direction, the cursor tends to bring closer and engage the closing profiles 23,25 to close the bag. On the contrary, when the slider 30 is moved in the second opposite direction, it tends to separate the closure sections 23, 25 and consequently to open the bag.

The composition and structure of the bag body 10, closure / opening means 20 and slider 30 are known per se to those skilled in the art. They will not be described in more detail later.

It will be remembered that, as previously indicated, according to the invention, the multiple closing / opening means 20 are fixed permanently on a main sheet 12. This permanent connection is referenced 16 in the appended figures. It is preferably made by welding. In addition according to the invention there is provided at the mouth of the bag, means 40 for permanent bonding adapted to allow manual bonding of the second sheet 14 on the multiple closing / opening means 20 after filling the bag.

The means 40 are preferably formed of a permanent strip of permanent adhesive disposed parallel to the direction of elongation of the multiple closing / opening means 20.

More specifically, in a manner known per se, such an adhesive strip 40 is preferably initially protected by a removable protective sheet 50.

The permanent adhesive strip 40 may be arranged according to a large number of variant embodiments.

According to figure 1 the permanent adhesive strip 40 is disposed on the internal face of the second main sheet 14, facing the closing / opening means 20.

According to the variant represented on the figure 2 , the permanent adhesive strip 40 associated with the protector 50 is placed on the outer surface of the support web 24 means 20 facing the second sheet 14.

Those skilled in the art will understand that the blanks of pouches represented on the Figures 1 and 2 make it possible to produce a bag provided with a content 60 as represented on the figure 3 . To do this, after placing the contents 60 in the bag body 10 by the space 70 defined between the closing / opening means 20 and the second sheet 14, it suffices to remove the protector 50 and to fix the second sheet 14 on the support veil 24 thanks to the band 40 of permanent glue.

The blanks of pouches represented on the Figures 4 and 5 are similar in their principles of use to the bag blanks depicted on the Figures 1 and 2 .

We have shown on Figures 6, 7, 8 and 11 four other variants of sachet blanks according to the present invention which differ from those illustrated on the Figures 1, 2, 4 and 5 in that one of the main sheets 12 14 of the bag body is extended by a flap 18 to be folded over the closure means 20 and be fixed itself by permanent bonding on the other facing main sheet. In this case, preferably, two strips of permanent glue 40, 42 associated with a respective removable protector 50, 52 are provided. One of the aforementioned glue strips is adapted to fasten to the closure means 20 while the Another adhesive strip is adapted to secure the flap 18.

According to the variant represented on the figure 6 the two adhesive strips 40, 42 associated with the protectors 50 are placed respectively on either side of the end of the flap.

According to the variant represented on the figure 7 an adhesive strip 40 is provided on the inner face of the main sheet 14 while the second band of glue 42 is provided on the inner face of the end of the flap 18.

According to the variant represented on the figure 8 the two adhesive strips 40 42 are provided respectively on either side of the end of the main sheet 14.

Those skilled in the art will understand that the bag blanks shown on the Figures 6, 7 and 8 make it possible to produce bags of the type illustrated on the Figures 9 and 10 according to which the flap 18 is folded down on the outside of the main leaflet 14 as illustrated in FIG. figure 9 , or interposed between the means 20 and the inner face of the main leaflet 14 as illustrated in FIG. figure 10 .

According to Figures 6, 7 and 8 the flap 18 extends the main leaflet 12 which carries the closure means 20 permanently.

On the contrary, according to figure 11 the flap 18 extends the sheet 14 opposite the sheet 12 permanently bearing the means 20. There are again two adhesive strips 40,42 associated with protectors 50 52 on the inner face of the flap 18. The bag blank shown on the figure 11 leads to the filled and closed sachet shown on the figure 12 . Of course, figure 11 may also be the subject of other embodiments in terms of the arrangement of the adhesive strips. By way of example, it is indeed possible to provide an adhesive strip not on the flap 18 but on the outer face of the main leaf 12 or on the outer face of the support veil 24.

Naturally, the present invention is not limited to the particular embodiments which have just been described but extends to any variant within its spirit.

Note in particular that in the case where the bag is provided with a flap 18 adapted to cover the means 20, it is not necessary that the sails 22,24 are initially connected by a connecting strip 28. We have here illustrated on the figures 8 , 9 and 10 a variant according to which the sails 22,24 carrying the closing profiles 23,25 are initially separated.

Claims (8)

1. Bag comprising two main sheets (12, 14) and means (20) for multiple opening and closing operations, at its mouth, characterised in that the means (20) for multiple opening and closing operations is attached to a main sheet (12) and in that the bag further comprises permanent bonding means (40, 42) comprising a strip of permanent glue (40), that is able to stick as required the second main sheet (14) onto the means (20) for opening and closing (20), and that the strip of permanent glue (40, 42) is covered by a removable protection (50, 52).
2. Bag according to claim 1, characterised in that the means (20) for multiple opening and closing operations has two closing profiles (23, 25) borne by respective support panels (22, 24), associated where applicable to an actuator slider (30).
3. Bag according to claims 1 or 2, characterised in that one of the main sheets (12, 14) is extended by a flap (18) that may be folded onto the means (20) for opening and closing to overlap it and be stuck to the second sheet (14, 12).
4. Bag according to claim 3, characterised in that it comprises two strips of glue (40, 42) respectively adapted to stick to the means (20) for opening and closing and the flap (18).
5. Bag according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the means (20) for opening and closing has two closing profiles (23, 25) borne by respective support panels (22, 24), connected to one another by a connecting strip (28).
6. Bag according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the means (20) for opening and closing has two closing profiles (23, 25) borne by respective independent support panels (22, 24).
7. Bag according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the means (20) for opening and closing is integrated into the material of one of the main sheets (12, 14).
8. Bag according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the means (20) for opening and closing is attached to a main sheet (12, 14).
