Abstract

The device (1) has two substrate webs i.e. plastic webs (12, 13), and complementary closure profiles (2, 3), where each profile is connected respectively to a corresponding web. Each web consists of a set of parts (14, 16) bearing one of the profiles, and another set of parts (15, 17) distinct from the former set of parts. The sets of parts are respectively provided with mutual and complementary cooperation units formed of a bead (40) and complementary gutter (41) along lower edge and upper edge of the parts. The parts are made of different plastics, incompatible in profile. An independent claim is also included for a pouch, comprising an additional web attached to the parts.

Description

The present invention relates to the field of sachets comprising complementary closure means.

In some cases, these means are actuated respectively on opening and closing by a cursor.

These bags comprise two generally parallel webs forming their main walls, complementary closure means integral with the webs, and possibly a slider for actuating said means, on closing and opening.

During the manufacture of these bags, we are dealing, for each sail, two areas that have very different technical and mechanical features.

The first is that which carries the closure means such as profiles. It is generally provided with ribs or other protruding members.

The second consists of the sails which later delimit either part of the closure or the walls of the bag. When it is a large bag, for example intended to receive a large amount of animal feed, this second area has a large extent.

During the manufacture of these sails, in particular by extrusion, creep problems of this second zone, which may have adverse consequences on the quality of the final product, in particular resulting in deformations of the first zone, called technical".

In addition, it may be required or desirable for manufacturing issues related to the technical constraints specific to each zone of the closure devices and / or the bag, that these bags are made of two different plastics, incompatible or hardly compatible with coextrusion .

The document WO 88/04634 refers to a pouch according to the preamble of claim 1 of the present application.

The docment US 2006/286356 is focused primarily on a pouch whose mouth is provided with a band containing active agents.

The present invention has for main purpose to overcome the difficulty mentioned above, by providing a bag that does not have these disadvantages.

Advantageously, the second parts of said sails are distinct entities.

However, according to another possible embodiment, the second parts of said sails consist of a single sheet folded on itself.

According to an advantageous embodiment, said closure means are molded with the corresponding first part.

Said closure means may, however, consist of inserts.

Preferably, said closure means are complementary profiles.

Advantageously, said second portions of said sails themselves delimit the receptacle of this bag,

Preferentially, it comprises at least one additional veil, attached to said first parts and / or second parts which delimits the receptacle of the bag.

This description describes a closure device that is subsequently used to make a bag.

The closure device 1 shown in FIG. figure 1 has a structure generally known per se in its outline. However, its embodiment is innovative.

It comprises an upper part 10 and a lower part 11.

It consists of two plastic sails, referenced 12 and 13.

At the upper part 10, the two webs 12 and 13 are provided with complementary closure profiles 2 and 3.

These profiles can be the subject of many embodiments. The invention is not limited to the precise embodiment illustrated in FIG. figure 1 .

In the case illustrated here, the sections 2 and 3 are respectively of the male and female type, as is well known to those skilled in the art. However, the invention can be applied to other types of profiles, in particular of the complementary hook type. It can also be applied to other means of closure, such as those with loops and hooks, well known as Velcro (registered trademark).

In the embodiment of the figure 1 , the profiles 2 and 3 came extrusion with the sails 12 and 13.

However, in an alternative embodiment not shown, these complementary profiles could be worn on the support strips reported on the webs 12 and 13, for example by hot welding or gluing.

This device has the features described below.

The sails 12 and 13 are in practice each consisting of two parts, namely a first part which carries one of the profiles, and a second part distinct from the first, these first and second parts being provided with mutual and complementary cooperation means 4, such as clipping means.

More precisely, the web 12 has a first part 14 (which can be described as an upper part when considering the figure 1 ) which carries the profile 2, while the web 13 has a first part 16 which carries the profile 3.

On the other hand, the web 12 has a second part 15 while the web 13 has a second analogous part 17.

The lower edge of the first parts 14 and 16 is here provided with a ring 40, while the upper edge of the second parts 15 and 17 is shaped as a complementary gutter 41.

The rod 40 is formed of a continuous bead, for example of cylindrical section, whose diameter is greater than the thickness of the web 14 which carries it, while the channel 41 is formed of a groove with converging edges.

Therefore, by clipping the rods 40 in the gutters 41, or translation fitting, the various parts are connected together, as shown in FIG. figure 1 .

Thanks to this structure, one can manufacture the device, for example by extrusion, in separate subsets, which is assembled later. In this way, creep problems encountered with already known devices are avoided.

The closure device illustrated in figure 2 is distinguished from the previous only by the fact that the lower edge of the first parts 14 and 16 is provided with a channel 40 ', while the upper edge of the second parts 15 and 17 is provided with a ring 41'.

Such a closure device is used to make a bag. For this, one can fix the closure device on one or sheets constituting the body of the bag or even connect the edges of the webs 15 and 17 opposite to the closure profiles 2, 3 to form the bag body.

We will now refer to Figures 3 to 8 to describe possible embodiments of such a bag and variants of closure device.

So, with reference to the figure 3 , a closure device similar to that of the figure 1 is attached to a plastic sheet 5 which is folded back on itself.

More specifically, two opposite free edges 50 of this sheet 5 are fixed to the free ends of the second parts 15, respectively 17 of the two webs 12 and 13, using any fastening means F known to those skilled in the art, such as than glue or solder.

A bag of a generally known type is then formed, the closure and opening of which are carried out by cooperation or lack of cooperation of the closure means 2 and 3.

The bag of the figure 4 overall has a structure similar to that just described with reference to the figure 3 . It differs however in that the sheet 5 is fixed not only to the lower end of the parts 15 and 17 of the webs 12 and 13 but also in their upper part, substantially in the vicinity of the closure means 2 and 3.

This ensures a better hold of the sheet 5 on the closure device, while protecting and making inaccessible the complementary means 4, which makes any voluntary or unexpected separation thereof impossible.

In the embodiment of the closing device of the Figure 5A , we are dealing again with a closing device similar to that described in figure 1 .

However, use is made here of a sheet 6 whose ends are shaped in the form of a channel 41, so that the second parts 15 and 17 of the webs 12 and 13 are constituted by the sheet 6 itself.

It is then sufficient to turn the sheet 6 on itself in U and engage the gutters 41 of the sheet 6 on the rods 40 of the closure device 1 to form a closure device as shown in FIG. Figure 5B .

It will be noted that the closure device illustrated on the Figure 5B presents the advantage of having a portion of sail that connects the webs 12 and 13 and thus forms an opening witness.

Indeed, once this closure device attached to one or sheets to form a bag, it will also be necessary to break this portion of the web, after separation of the sections 2 and 3, to access the first time the contents of the bag. Said sail portion also constitutes a sealing element of the bag in parallel with the profiles 2 and 3.

Alternatively, the realization of a bag with this device alone is possible if the sheet 6 has a size suitable for such manufacture.

The making of a bag by means of a fastening device attached to a sheet is clearly illustrated in FIGS. Figures 6 to 8 .

So, with reference to the figure 6 in the upper part of the bag, there is a closure device 1 to which has been attached a sheet 6 of reduced longitudinal extent.

To this sheet 6 is attached another sheet 7, also folded on itself, but of larger dimensions, its opposite free ends 70 being fixed by means F (for example bonding or welding) to the sheet 6 of part and other of it.

So we are dealing with a bag structure that includes, from top to bottom when we consider the figure 6 , complementary closure means 2 and 3, and an additional closure constituted by the fold of the sheet 6, which must be broken in order to gain access to the inside of the receptacle of the bag (delimited by the sheet 7 itself) .

The Figures 7 and 8 relate to a similar structure except that the sheet 7 is fixed in the upper part of the closure device 1 ( figure 7 ) and both in the upper part of the closure device 1 and on the opposite faces of the sheet 6 ( figure 8 ).

The two-part manufacture of the closure device thus makes it possible to solve the problems encountered with the prior devices.

Moreover, when it is envisaged to manufacture a closure device using two plastics which are incompatible for coextrusion manufacture, then according to the invention a first material is used for the manufacture of the part. "Technique" 10 of the device and another material for the web 11 of the film.

Claims (9)

1. A sack (1) comprising:

   - two substrate webs (12, 13) ;

   - complementary closure means (2, 3), each being connected respectively to a corresponding web (12, 13),
   characterized by the fact that each web (12, 13) consists of two parts, namely a first part (14, 16) bearing one of the closure means (2 ; 3), and a second part (15, 17) distinct from the first, these first (14, 16) and second (15, 17) parts being provided along their lower edge and upper edge respectively with mutual and complementary cooperation means (40, 41, 40', 41'), which consist on one hand of beads (40) carried by said first parts(14, 16), and on the other hand of complementary gutters (41) carried by the top edge of said second parts (15, 17), or conversely.
2. A sack according to Claim 1, characterized by the fact that the second parts (15, 17) of said webs (12, 13) are distinct entities.
3. A sack according to Claim 1, characterized by the fact that the second parts (15, 17) of said webs (12, 13) consist of one and the same sheet (5) folded over itself.
4. A sack according to one of the foregoing claims, characterized by the fact that said closure means (2, 3) are molded integrally with the corresponding first part (14, 16).
5. A sack according to one of Claims 1 through 3, characterized by the fact that said closure means (2, 3) are inserted elements.
6. A sack according to one of the foregoing claims, characterized by the fact that said closure means (2, 3) are complementary profiles.
7. A sack according to one of the foregoing claims, characterized by the fact that said first (14, 16) and second (15, 17) parts are made of different plastics, incompatible in extrusion.
8. A sack according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized by the fact that said second parts (15, 17) of said webs (12, 13) themselves delimit the receptacle of this sack.
9. A sack according to one of Claim 1 to 7, characterized by the fact that it includes at least one additional web (6, 7) attached to said first parts (14, 16) and/or second parts (15, 17) which delimits the receptacle of the sack.
