Abstract

The cross bar has a frame (7) of four arms each with a grip (5) at the end. A central lifting ring (2) is coupled so that a lifting force causes closing of the grips. When the flexible container is lowered to the ground the downward movement of the lifting ring releases the grips. A manual or semi-automatic mechanism ensures the grips are initially in the open position.
