Claims (16)

  1. A closure device for the manhole of a tank, that includes:
    - a lid (11) designed for closure of the manhole (2),
    - means for fixing the lid (11) in the closed position of the manhole (2),
    where the fixing means include:
    - a means (20) for moving the lid (11) in relation to the manhole (2) between a locked closed position of the manhole (2) and a position that is at least half open in relation to the manhole (2), and
    - a means for controlling the movement means (20) to at least the closed and half-open positions, and that is located away from the lid (11),
    characterised in that the movement means (20) include:
    - a body (19) that is immobilised in relation to the manhole (2) in an open bottom (4),
    - a cover (7),
    - at least one actuating part (20) that is guided in relation to the body (19) along a trajectory that is controlled by the control means between first and second actuating positions corresponding to the closed and half-open positions respectively, and
    - a means (15, 16) to drive the lid (11), from the actuating part (20) and by means of the cover (7), between the closed and half-open positions, so that in the closed position of the lid (11), the cover (7) is applied against the opening in the bottom (4) to form, with the latter, a closed compartment in which the movement means (20) and the lid (11) are located, and that in the half open position, a passage is present between the cover (7) and the bottom (4).
  2. A closure device according to claim 1, characterised in that the movement means (20) include at least one jack or actuator.
  3. A closure device according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that the movement means (20) include at least one component for moving the lid (11), which is operated electromagnetically by the control means.
  4. A closure device according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that the bottom (4) and the cover (7) are those of a drip channel located around the manhole (2).
  5. A closure device according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that the actuating part (20) is connected to the drive means (15, 16) of the lid (11) by means of a removable linking component that is accessible in the half open position, and located in the said compartment in the closed position.
  6. A closure device according to claim 5, characterised in that the component connecting the actuating part (20) to the drive means (15, 16) include:
    - a means (26, 27) to interlock with a corresponding part (22) arranged on the actuating part (20),
    - a means (31) for pre-stressing the interlocking means (26, 27) in a position of interlock with the said corresponding part (22), allowing connection between the drive means (15, 16) and the actuating part (20), with the interlocking means (26, 27) being designed to pass against the prestressing means (31) to a de-interlocked position, in which the drive means (15, 16) are designed to be separated from the actuating part (20), and
    - means (35, 36) for grasping the interlocking means (26, 27), that are accessible in the half open position in order to pass them to the de-interlocked position.
  7. A closure device according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that the actuating part (20) includes a pin (22) connected to a shoulder (23) outside the body (19) and located, on the guidance trajectory, between a first end-stop (24) for moving the cover (7) from the half open position to the closed position, and a second end-stop (25) for moving the cover (7) from the closed position to the half open position.
  8. A closure device according to claims 6 and 7, characterised in that the first movement end-stop (24) is formed on the interlocking means (26, 27) of the connecting component.
  9. A closure device according to claim 8, characterised in that the interlocking means (26, 27) include two jaws (26, 27) mounted to move in rotation on a support (30) attached to the cover (7) between the interlocked and de-interlocked positions, to surround the pin (22) and form the first movement end-stop (24) in the interlock position, and to be moved away from the pin (22) and to create a passage for the shoulder (23) into a de-interlocked position, the pre-stressing means (31) includes a compression spring (32) mounted between two brackets (33, 34) for extending the jaws (26, 27) beyond the axes of rotation (28, 29) of the jaws (26, 27), and the grasping means (35, 36) are provided on the brackets (33, 34).
  10. A closure device according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that the cover (7) is articulated by an axis of rotation (6) to the bottom (4), the lid (11) includes an outside support (11a) articulated by an axis of rotation (10) to a support (2a) that is immobilised on the outside of the manhole (2), and the drive means include at least one arm (13) connecting the cover (7) to the lid (11) away from their axes (6, 10) of rotation and itself articulated in rotation in relation to the cover (7) and to the lid (11).
  11. A closure device according to claim 10, characterised in that the axis (10) of articulation of the lid (11) has some play in relation to the support (2a) of the manhole (2) and/or in relation to the support (11a) of the lid (11), so that the drive means totally applies the closure edge (9) of the lid (11) onto the corresponding edge (3) of the manhole (2) during passage from the half open position to the closed position.
  12. A closure device according to claim 11, characterised in that the axis (10) of articulation of the lid (11) is housed in an oblong hole (10a) of the support (2a) of the manhole (2) and/or of the support (11a) of the lid (11), with the oblong hole (10a) being directed along the direction of arrival of the lid (11) on the manhole (2) in the closed position.
  13. A closure device according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that the drive means include at least one push button (13b) attached to the cover (7) away from its axis (6) of rotation and arranged to push the lid (11) into the closed position.
  14. A closure device according to any of the previous claims, characterised in that the control means are located at a control position away from the lid (11) and that includes an open access door that is lockable.
  15. A tank with at least one compartment that is intended to contain a volume of materials, where the compartment is equipped in its upper part with a manhole (2), on which a device (1) for closure of the manhole (2) is immobilised according to any of the previous claims.
  16. A fuel tanker according to claim 15, characterised in that the control means are provided in a position that is accessible by a person standing on the ground.
