Abstract

The lever clamp consists of a traction arm (1) which operates a pair of locking levers (11a, 11b) which grip the load (2). The arm is connected to the locking levers via control levers (12a, 12b) and articulated joints (15), with release handles (13) fixed rigidly to the control levers. A pivot (17) connecting the two locking levers moves in a slot (18) in a plate (20) with a safety stop (22) when the handles are operated, the stop being fixed to a bracket (23) with a return spring (21).
