Abstract

Comb allowing metered distribution of a liquid for hair care in which a bottle (1), containing the product for hair care, receives on its neck (2) provided with a thread a threaded end (5) in connection by a duct or channel (7) pierced in the back (6) of the comb (4) and terminating in capillary channels (8, 15) opening either between the teeth (10) of the comb or at the bottom of the teeth of the comb so that the liquid intended for care is distributed in a sufficient dose, especially since the bottle (1) is slightly deformable to allow the liquid for hair care to be sent under slight pressure.

Description

A The subject of the present invention is a comb allowing the distribution

  dosed with a liquid for hair care and in particular a liquid intended for

hair dye.

  Until now, when a person wishes to have his hair dyed, he is led to take from a bottle the dye which he spreads on his hair either by means of a tampon or by means of a brush, which has the effect despite a great habit, on the one hand, of using too much product and, on the other hand, of being brought

  then mop up the excess product, which is

  gréable to perform and, in addition, dyes the scalp,

which is unsightly.

  The present invention overcomes these drawbacks

  by creating a comb on which can be mounted directly-

  In Fig 1, there is shown a bottle 1 in

  Small capillary channels 8 connect the con-

  The user can therefore, by combing in a usual manner, distribute over his hair and in a very thin layer, due to the very small section of the capillary channels 8, the liquid contained in the bottle 1, whether this liquid is tincture or other product

care.

  In the case of dyeing, the quantity of product dispensed is just necessary for the intended purpose and if

  after the first pass, there are still insufficient areas

  richly dyed, it is enough to iron the comb to

obtain the desired shade.

  In the case where it is necessary to use a larger dose of product, the user can, by exerting more or less pressure on the blanks of the bottle 1, increase the pressure of the liquid allowing

  thus the latter to flow in greater quantity.

  In fig 2, as in the case of fig 1, the bottle 1 has a neck 2, the outer part of which is

  threaded to receive the tip 5 of a comb 12.

  The latter (see fig 3) has a hollow comb back 13 thus allowing the production of a channel 14 whose section decreases between the end piece 5 and

the end 13 has the comb.

  The teeth 15 of the comb are hollowed out in 15 a and thus allow the passage of the liquid coming from the bottle 1 passing through the nozzle 5 then in the channel 14 to end at the lower end 15 a of each tooth 15

of the comb.

  As can be seen in FIG. 3 a, the front end of the channel 14 carries tabs 18, at least part of which is bent at 18 a to retain a ball 19, generally made of hard plastic, ball which is pushed back towards the inside of the nozzle 5 by a spring, generally made of stainless material, placed in the channel 14 The ball 19 and spring 20 assembly thus ensure a more or less significant flow of the liquid contained in the bottle 1 depending on the importance of the

  pressure exerted on the blanks of this bottle.

  The same can be done for the

comb shown in fig 1.

  As in the previous case, this comb allows an easy distribution of the liquid for hair care and the quantity of which can be increased by acting by

pressure on the sides of the bottle 1.

  In general, the combs of Figs 1, 2 to 5 are made by molding in synthetic plastic

  but it could be made of other materials

Claims (4)

  1 Comb allowing the metered distribution of a liquid for hair care, characterized in that a bottle (1), containing the product for hair care, receives on its neck (2) provided with a thread a threaded end ( 5) in connection with a conduit or channel (7, 14) pierced in the back (6, 13) of the comb (4) and terminating in capillary channels (8, 15) opening either between the teeth (10) of the comb or to the lower part of the teeth of the comb so that the liquid intended for care is distributed in sufficient dose, especially since the bottle (1) is slightly deformable to allow the liquid to be sent under slight pressure to hair care.   2 Comb according to claim 1, character-   risé in that the central conduit (6) for supplying the liquid   in the back of the comb increases in diameter between the mouthpiece   chure of the bottle (1) and the opposite end part of the comb (4).   3 Comb according to claim 1, character-   laughed in that the central channel (14) for supplying the liquid in the back (13) of the comb has a decreasing section   between the bottle and the free end of the comb.   4 Comb according to one of claims 1 to   3, characterized in that it is provided at the entry of the channel (7 or 14) into the interior of the threaded end piece (5), a ball (19) and a spring (20) allowing automatic adjustment, depending on the pressure exerted on the sides of the bottle, the quantity of liquid admitted into the comb teeth.
