Abstract

The anti theft lock has a box (1) with a retractable stirrup (2) and locking spindle (3). The box may be cemented into the ground. The retractable stirrup may be "U" shaped steel section, with top holding holes and lock, with key. The welded steel box may be slotted to store the locking spindle, when not in use. The spindle may be high strength steel, over 5mm diameter, with head and locking neck, able to rotate when locked. The stirrup and spindle lock the rear wheel, the spindle locked by a key. ADVANTAGE - Chain, or cable locks, restraining only wheels or disc brakes, cannot prevent theft by lifting complete into a van. This overcomes the problem.
