Abstract

It is a panel comprising, to hold a plate (13) at its periphery, a frame (14), of which one side (14A), at least, comprises, on the one hand, a section of profile (16 ) having a bearing facet (18) to abut the plate (13), and, on the other hand, a glazing bead (20A) hooked and snapped onto the section of profile (16) for the application of the plate (13) ) against its bearing facet (18). "Panel, in particular for cupboard door, and in particular for door

  The present invention relates generally to panels formed by a plate surrounded by a frame at its periphery. It relates more particularly, but not necessarily exclusively, to the case where such a panel is used for the constitution of a door, in particular a door for a cabinet, and in particular a door for an electrical cabinet, whether it constitutes such a door alone or

is only one of the leaves.

  This is the case for example when, to leave at least part of the contents of the cabinet concerned, the

  plate that includes such a panel is glazing.

  It is known, moreover, for the constitution of light boxes, to which the present invention can also find its application, to similarly hold a plate at its periphery by a frame, including at least one of the sides, and in practice, each of these comprises, on the one hand, a section of profile, which has a supporting facet longitudinally to buttress the plate, and, on the other hand, a glazing bead, which is hooked and snapped onto this section of profile for the application of

plate against its support facet.

  This is the case, for example, in the British patent

No 1 602 730.

  But, in practice, in this British patent, the attachment is made so as to allow mounting

  pivoting of the glazing bead on the profile section.

  This attachment therefore necessarily takes place at a distance from the support facet of the section of section, and, jointly, the latching necessarily occurs between

  this facet of support and attachment.

  As a result, the force exerted by the glazing bead on the plate is relatively poorly controlled, and the maintenance of

  this plate is therefore relatively poorly insured.

  The present invention generally relates to a provision which, apart from any pivoting assembly, is advantageously free from these drawbacks and

  on the contrary allows an effective and safe maintenance of the plate.

  More specifically, it relates to a panel, in particular a panel for a cabinet door, and in particular for an electrical cabinet door, of the type comprising, to hold a plate at its periphery, a frame, at least one of which on the sides comprises, on the one hand, a section of profile, which longitudinally has a support facet for abutting the plate, and, on the other hand, a glazing bead, which is hooked and snapped onto the section of profile for the application of the plate against its support facet, this panel being generally characterized in that, jointly, on the one hand, the profile section has, in the vicinity of its support facet, projecting from to this support facet in a direction perpendicular thereto, a hooking return, which extends on the side of this support facet, and with which the glazing bead is itself engaged by a return of hooking directed in the opposite direction, and, on the other hand, the profile section has, at a distance from its support facet, a latching shoulder, which, in a direction parallel to this support facet, extends on the other side of its hooking return relative to to this facet of support, and with which the glazing bead is itself engaged by a

  latching shoulder directed in the opposite direction.

  Thus, the force exerted by the glazing bead on the plate to be maintained is counteracted as closely as possible by the hooking return of the section of profile, along one of the edges of this glazing bead, for the benefit of an effective and secure maintenance. of

  In a manner known per se, this cabinet 10 comprises a body 11, and, articulated at the front of this body 11 to constitute

a door, a panel 12.

  The corresponding provisions not falling under the

  In a manner also known per se, the panel 12 is formed of a plate 13, for example a glazing, with, disposed at the periphery of this plate 13, to ensure its maintenance

  and the articulation to the body 11, a frame 14.
