Abstract

The door of a switch cubicle is a panel supported in a frame. Either the vertical or horizontal rails of the frame are of irregular profiled sections (16) with a supporting edge (18) down their length upon which the panel (13) sits. Cover strips (20a) clip over these rails and press against the panel to hold it in place. The rails have a grooved projection (24) on their outside surface running parallel to the supporting edge and into which the lip (25) of the cover strip fits. At their outer edge a shoulder (27) is formed onto a projection (27) on the cover strip snaps. ADVANTAGE - Efficient retention of panel by frame.
