Description

The present invention relates to a profile intended for the production of walls, in particular for cross-insulated cladding.

Cladding is currently produced which comprises an inner wall made up of an assembly of ribbed metal profiles arranged horizontally, separated by a layer of insulating material from an outer wall also made up of ribbed metal profiles generally arranged vertically. The connection between interior and exterior walls is generally carried out at the crossing points of the edges of these ribs.

The patent FR-A-2253898 describes a profile with a general U-shaped section, of the type comprising a core framed by wings bordered by edges folded outwards and terminated by flanges. However, the arrangement of these profiles has essentially an aesthetic purpose and does not provide rigidity of the wall.

One of the aims of the present invention is to produce a profile which, when assembled to form a wall, provides a significant improvement in the rigidity of this wall.

The present invention thus relates to a profile with a general U-shaped section, intended in particular for the production of cladding, of the type comprising a core framed by wings bordered by edges folded outwards and terminated by flanges directed towards the base of the U, characterized in that each wing comprises a first part and a second part, each bank and the adjacent part of the wing projecting towards the inside of the U, said first part being connected to the corresponding edge of the core by the second part perpendicular to this core, which serves as a stop for the respective wings of two juxtaposed profiles, so that during the assembly of two juxtaposed profiles, the first parts and the adjacent edges of these profiles form a box by reciprocal nesting of banks and ledges.

Said first part is constituted by a flat face connected to the second part by an inclined shoulder turned inwards.

According to another characteristic of the present invention, said second part has a groove facing outwards, so that during the assembly of two juxtaposed profiles, the grooves of two adjacent wings form a channel which can optionally receive a gasket. sealing.

The profiles according to the present invention each comprise a substantially planar core possibly comprising ribs, framed by wings which are bordered by folded edges parallel to the core. The edges are terminated by flanges which are folded back towards the core at an angle at least equal to 90 ° and variable according to the respective wings of each profile.

Indeed, the profiles are designed in such a way that one of the two wings has a height greater than the other, the width of the edge corresponding to the highest wing also being greater than the width of the edge of the relatively lower wing, so as to allow, when assembling two juxtaposed sections, the interlocking of the relatively lower wing, its edge and its rim under the relatively higher wing, its shore and its ledge.

By appropriately adapting the respective height and width, taking into account the thickness of the sheets of the profiles, a flat wall is obtained having a regularity of appearance of the pitch which is sought for this type of construction.

  • - la Fig. 1 est une vue en perspective avec coupe partielle d'un bardage à trame croisée comportant une paroi intérieure constituée d'un assemblage de profilés selon la présente invention;
  • - la Fig. 2 est une vue en coupe transversale d'un profilé selon la présente invention comportant une couche d'un élément isolant;
Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will appear during the description which follows, made with reference to the appended drawings in which:
  • - Fig. 1 is a perspective view with partial section of a cross-frame cladding comprising an inner wall consisting of an assembly of profiles according to the present invention;
  • - Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of a profile according to the present invention comprising a layer of an insulating element;
  • - Figs. 3 and 4 are particular embodiments of the branches of the profile according to the present invention forming a box after assembly.

The insulated cross-frame cladding shown in FIG. 1 has an inner wall 1 consisting of an assembly of profiles 2 according to the present invention, which are fixed to a post 3 of a metal frame by means of fixing means such as self-tapping screws, spitting, etc. , not shown.

A layer of insulating material 4 is interposed between the wall 2 and an outer wall 5 also made up of profiles of another type arranged vertically and fixed to the profile 2 of the wall 1 by fixing means of the previous type also not shown. .

When assembled, the profiles 2 form boxes 6 contributing to the stiffening of the wall.

The profile. according to the present invention shown in section in FIG. 2 has a general U-shaped section and comprises a substantially flat core 7 provided with ribs 8 parallel to each other and at the edge of the core and projecting towards the inside of the U.

Cette partie en saillie de l'aile sera décrite en référence à l'aile 9b, étant bien entendu que l'aile 9a est symétrique de l'aile 9b.The wings have a projecting part towards the inside of the U, in relation to the edges of the core, with the corresponding edge. This projecting part of the wing will be described with reference to the wing 9b, it being understood that the wing 9a is symmetrical with the wing 9b.

The wing 9b therefore comprises a first projecting part consisting of a flat surface 12b connected to a second part 13b perpendicular to the core 7, by means of an inclined shoulder 14b turned towards the inside of the U.

The wing 9b is bordered by a flat bank 10b and parallel to the core 7 which is terminated by a flange 11b folded towards the core of the U, at 90 ° relative to the bank 10b.

The wing 9b which has just been described will be referred to below as the outer wing relative to the wing 9a as the inner wing to explain the reciprocal interlocking mechanism of these two wings.

As shown in FIG. 2, the profile may include, held inside the wings 9a and 9b, against the core 7, a layer 15 of an insulating material precut to the appropriate size which can be locked against the inclined shoulders 14a and 14b of the wings to keep it in place in the profile.

In Figs. 3 and 4 have been shown the interlocking of the inner wing 9a in the outer wing 9b as well as two variants relating to the second part 13a and 13b of the wings.

Indeed, one can provide in the flat surface of the part 13b, a groove 16b, shown in FIG. 3 which has the general shape of a U with a flat base and the branches of which are flared towards the outside. In Fig. 4 repre - sensing a variant of Fig. 3, the groove 17b formed in the second part 13b has a semi-cylindrical shape.

When the wings 9a and 9b are fitted, the groove 16b and the corresponding groove 16a, as well as the groove 17b and the corresponding groove 17a, form a channel allowing the installation of an air seal and the like. atmospheric agents.

We can see in Figs. 3 and 4, that to allow the interlocking, the outer wing 9b must have a height greater than the wing 9a, and that the edge 10b must have an interior width making it possible to receive the exterior width of the edge 10a. The flange 1 1 is also folded towards the core of the U but at an angle greater than 90 ° relative to the edge 10a so as to allow the reciprocal interlocking of the wings of two juxtaposed sections.

The box designated by the general reference 6 thus formed by the interlocking of the wings, edges and corresponding flanges of two adjacent wings of two juxtaposed profiles constitutes a stiffening element of the interior wall of the cladding according to the present invention which also has the advantage of being able to hold in place, without fixing, an insulating element.
