Abstract

The invention relates to a device for making slight incisions for bakery use. It is made up of a support comprising a rectangular frame of elongate shape (8) which can be located above the portion of bread in which slight incisions are to be made. A double-acting cylinder (1) is secured to a vertical plate (4), whilst its driving rod (7) is, in turn, secured to an arm (9) carrying cutting blades (10) located parallel to the major sides of the frame. The driving rod (7) cannot pivot during its linear displacement obliquely with respect to the frame (8) owing to a guide ring (6) which slides along a bar (5) parallel to the rod. The frame (8) is connected to the support by means of a piece (13) which allows it to tilt and, in doing so, a switch (11) brings the cylinder (1) into action so that the blades (10) can cut inside the frame (8) obliquely.
