Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de prouver que des documents ont été transmis par un système de reproduction appelé fac-similé ou télécopie. Il se caractérise par l'inscription sur chaque document transmis, ou sur une copie effectuée en interne par la machine,du numéro de la ligne utilisée par l'appareil émetteur, du numéro de la ligne appelée, des date et heure de la transmission, ainsi que de l'accusé de réception de fin de message. Le dispositif selon l'invention est destiné à donner une valeur juridique aux documents transmis par télécopie, valeur juridique semblable à celle existant pour la correspondance transmise par télex.
Description
La présente invention concerne un dispositif permettant l'authentification de chaque document transmis par voie d'appareils de reproduction appelés appareils de fac-similé ou de télécopie.
A ce jour les mesages transmis par voie de TELEX ont une valeur juridique reconnue, les appareils émetteur et récepteur imprimant sur un même papier chaque message au fur et à mesure de l'émission, ainsi que les indicatifs des appareils émetteur et récepteur, les jours et heures de transmission et un caractère de validation de bonne fin de
En ce qui concerne les télécopieurs il n'y a qu'ure commencement de preuve, -lié à la possibilité de sortir un ticket et/ou un récapitulatif quotidien donnant le numéro appelé, le jour , l'heure et le nombre de pages transmises.

Le dispositif selon l'invention permet de remédier à cette carence en obtenant l'inscription des informations relatives à la transmission:
- numéro d'appel et identifiant de la machine appelante,
- numéro d'appel et identifiant de la machine appelée,
- date et heure de la transmission,
- accusé de bonne réception, soit directement sur chaque document transmis, soit sur une copie exécutée en interne de la machine appelante au fur et à mesure de la transmission.

Toutes ces informations nécessaires existent et ne sont que partiellement utilisées par les machines actuelles tant sur le marché français, qu'étranger dans les protocoles de dialogue.
Tout d'abord il convient de disposer des informations propres à la machine ( numéro d'appel et identifiant ) dans une mémoire non modifiable de type
PROM, comme pour le TELEX, informations inscrites par le constructeur ou un service dament abilité.

A l'aide d'un programme logiciel spécifique, et des circuits électroniques de ces appareils ( mémoires, microprocesseur et registres de sortie notamment ) les informations sont traitées et envoyées sur une tete ou une barrette d'écriture.
Ceci est réalisable de deux façons:
- la première consiste en la mise en place d'une tête ou d'une
barrette d'écriture à côté de la barrette de lecture. Lors du
passage du document devant cette tête l'impression est réalisée.

- la seconde solution consiste en l'utilisation de la tête ou de la
barrette d'écriture qui sert en réception et lors de la copie en
local. La demande de justification du document à transmettre
génère alors, simultanément à l'émission, une copie en local,
copie sur laquelle les informations relatives à la transmission
se trouvent automatiquement inscrites.

Bien entendu le dispositif selon l'invention ne fonctionne pas tout le temps: il est sélectionnable, avant envoi des documents, par appui sur une touche spécialement affectée sur le clavier de l'appareil.
Claims (7)
1. Dispositif intégré à un appareil, de fac-similé ( télécopie ) comprenant
une mémoire non modifiable (PROM , associée à un bouton de commande et à
une tête d'écriture permettant , lors de l'envoi d'un document , d'obtenir en temps réel 1 une preuve de la transmission.
2. Dispositif selon revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que I' ins
cription des infcrmations dans la mémcire $PROM ne peut étre effectuée que
par le constructeur, en usine, cu par un service officiel (Administration
des Postes et Télécommunications, par exemple ) afin de garantir la
validité de ces Informations, comme pour les appareils TELEX.
3. Dispositif selon les revendications 1 & , caractérisé en ce que la mémoire
PROM contient le numéro d'appel PTT de l'appareil, ainsi que le nom de la
société utilisatrice.
4. Dispositif selon les revendications précédentes, caractérisé par le fait
que la demande d'inscription permettant l'authentification de chaque
document transis est un mode de fonctionnement sélectionnable par appui
sur un bouton ce commande au clavier de l'appareil.
5. Dispositif selon les revendications précédentes , caractérisé par le fait
que les inscriptions de justification sont effectuées par passage de
chaque document devant une tête ou une barrette de d'écriture placée à
coté de la barrette de lecture.
6. Dispositif selon les revendications 1, 2 , 3 & o, caractérisé par le fait
que la demande de justification de transmission génère la production d'une
copie en interne, copie sur laquelle la machine imprime les inscriptions
de justification.
7. Dispositif selon les revendications précédentes, caractérisé par
l'inscripticn, pour authentification de chaque document transmis, des
informations relatives à la date et l'heure de la transmission, ainsi que
des informations contenues dans les mémoires PROM des appareils émetteur
et récepteur.
