Abstract

Device making it possible to join together wooden elements without allowing the small iron work connection modules to be seen. It comprises 2 steel nuts with double screw threads which each screw, by an action on the screwing slot, into a wooden member, by virtue of its external screw thread, and a steel threaded rod which screws at each end into the internal screw thread of the nuts. The invention may be used for erecting and assembling shelf units made from wood or any other equivalent material.

Description

The present invention relates to an invisible connecting hardware module for joint assembly of three independent elements.

Until now, no device of this kind has been known, intended to assemble shelves by a mounting which does not appear once the assembly has been grouped together.

The existing devices have the drawback of being visible, and of appearing in the assembly of the elements, the visible assembly elements being unsightly.

The device according to the invention makes it possible to avoid these drawbacks. In this one, in fact, it is possible to mount shelves without the elements allowing the assembly appearing visually or visually. This device has an industrial aesthetic purpose, its design and manufacture aims to harmonize one.

The device object of the invention has 3 elements
the element: a nut with double thread in steel, bronze,
brass or any other equivalent material.

The external thread is intended for screwing
in wood or any other equivalent material;
the internal thread is intended to receive the
second element.

2nd element: a threaded steel rod which is screwed
in the double thread nuts formed by the
1st and 2nd element.

3rd element: a second double-threaded steel nut,
identical to the 1st element.

The accompanying drawings illustrate, by way of example, an embodiment of the device according to the present invention.

Before installing double-threaded nuts in the ends of the uprights, these are pre-drilled by drilling with a diameter slightly smaller than the end of the nut.

As shown, the device comprises two double-threaded nuts (1). The first nut with double thread in steel (1) or any other equivalent material is screwed into the end of a pre-drilled wooden upright (2) thanks to a screwing slot (3), then is screwed into this nut (1) the threaded rod (4), on this is threaded a shelf (5) previously perforated (6); on the other end of the threaded rod (4) is screwed another nut with double steel thread (1), itself screwed beforehand in the end of a wooden upright (2) by tightening the upper upright.

Tightening is carried out by screwing the upper upright with its nut onto the shelf unit, laminated rod and lower upright.

Once assembled and tightened the three elements no longer appear in the assembly of the assembly.

Figure 1 shows the 3 elements: the 2 double-threaded nuts (1), each screwed into a wooden upright (2) or any other material of equivalent resistance, the threaded rod (4) previously threaded into a wooden shelf ( 5).

Figure 2 shows the device composed of three elements screwed together and in the wood, and therefore invisible.

Figure 3 shows the double thread nut (1) screwed into the wood through its screwing slot (3).

Figure 4 shows a standard shelf (5) pre-drilled at the 4 corners (6), to allow the threaded rods (4) to be threaded before coming to be screwed into the nuts with double thread (1).

FIG. 5 represents an example of assembly of the shelves which does not show the 3 mounting elements once the assembly has been assembled.

On sale there are several standard uprights and several types of standard shelves, so all kinds of assemblies and compositions can be carried out.

The device object of the invention can be used in all cases of assembly and mounting of shelves or wooden elements.

This device makes it possible to assemble shelves on uprights in a precise and fixed manner, while remaining artistic because the modules remain invisible.

1) Device for assembling shelves and wooden uprights, characterized by invisible hardware modules comprising:  - a first nut with double thread (1) screwed thanks to a  screw slot (3) in the end of the wooden upright  (2), previously drilled.  by tightening the upper upright.  (1) itself screwed into the end of another upright (2)  the other end of the rod (4) is screwed a second nut  coming to be fixed to the first nut (1) screwed to an upright,  - a threaded rod (4), threaded into a shelf (5)  threaded (4).  in another upright (2) and coming to be screwed on the rod  - a second (1) nut identical to the first screwed (1) nut 2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the tightening is effected by screwing the upper upright provided with its nut (1) on the assembly: shelf, threaded rod, and lower upright.
