The invention relates to a false ceiling,

especially for an exhibition hall.

width of these bands.

  According to another characteristic of the present addition, the sheet material constituting

the bands are elastic.

  According to another characteristic of the present addition, the strip is constituted by a knitted material, each longitudinal line of fusible means connecting the panels being constituted by a

  tage of a wire of a material with a low melting point.

  The object of the present invention is therefore the simple and inexpensive production of an aesthetic false ceiling which, when declaring a

  fire source, does not interfere in any way with the eva

  cuation of fumes, triggering of water projection devices and sprinkling of the hearth by

  water jets from these devices.

  According to the invention, the various panels 1 constituting the false ceiling 2 are produced in the form of long strips of flexible material, which are stretched by their ends 11, 12 and which are juxtaposed horizontally in order to constitute

  1) False ceiling in particular for exhibition hall, consisting of sheets of flexible material connected to each other by a fusible means, false ceiling characterized in that the sheets (1, 11) are produced in the form of strips of very long comprising at least one and preferably several lines of fusible means arranged longitudinally and distributed over the width of these bands.   2) False ceiling according to claim 1, characterized in that the sheet material   constituting the bands is elastic.   3) False ceiling according to any one   of the preceding claims, characterized in that   the strip is formed by a knitted material, each longitudinal line of fusible means connecting the panels being constituted by one or more columns of stitches produced by knitting a thread   made of a material with a low melting point.   4) False ceiling according to any one   of the preceding claims, characterized in that   the strips are laid in the stretched state.   ) False ceiling according to any one   of the preceding claims, characterized in that   the stretched bands are juxtaposed one next to   the other with or without junction by a fusible means.
