Abstract

Movable trolley which can be fitted to all types of vehicle and is intended for storing equipment to which access must be quick and easy, characterised in that it may be extracted entirely from the volume of the vehicle from both sides by means of a telescopic device comprising two elements of the same length equal to the width of the vehicle which can move in longitudinal translation, a plate 10 which can move with respect to the vehicle and allowing the trolley 1 to slide, each one being capable of effecting a movement corresponding to half its length in both directions with respect to a reference frame fixed to the element on which it can move, the said movement being limited by end-of-travel stops and caused by manual or automatic means.

Description

The present invention relates to a mobile telescopic carriage which can be installed in commercial motor vehicles, for example of the vehicle type.
Rescue Road, so as to allow instant and easy access to everything that is placed on said trolley, and usable symmetrically on either side of the vehicle.

 Although such a device can be applied to any vehicle, its preferred use is in the field of rapid intervention vehicles, the equipment of which must be on hand at all times.

Thus, Road Rescue Vehicles whose intervention is required, for example when traffic accidents require victims to be extricated, must be able to be operational on the scene of the disaster as quickly as possible and offer ergonomics adapted to the circumstances of this type of work.

 In vehicles of this type currently known, all the equipment and tools necessary for this type of intervention are stored in drawers accessible from the sides of the vehicle. According to another configuration, the storage of the material is carried out by means of boxes distributed in lockers also accessible by the lateral faces.

Several problems arise in the presence of such installations. First, the geographic configuration of the accident site does not always allow the vehicle to maneuver: the equipment is not necessarily located on the correct side, that of the accident vehicle. Consequently, each necessary tool is to be sought in the opposite wall: we can easily imagine the loss of time caused by these detours, especially since these vehicles are sometimes large trucks.

 Secondly, the equipment is stored in several drawers located at different levels: it is necessary to know the distribution of the equipment perfectly so as not to further increase the loss of time. And this especially as the upper drawers do not let see what they contain.

 Finally, in the case of boxes, they must be brought next to the damaged vehicle, which can interfere with the maneuver. .i: surplus, a deep box nc is not an effective storage means, especially if several tools x; are mixed. The control of the various necessary equipment cannot be carried out in good conditions and the speed of maneuver is inevitably disturbed.

 In the final analysis, it is the speed of action at any time during the intervention that must be the responsibility of any design of this equipment. As such, the solutions previously exposed are not satisfactory.

The present invention overcomes the drawbacks resulting from the previous configurations by proposing a telescopic mobile carriage with longitudinal translation adaptable to any motor vehicle and more particularly suitable for
Road Rescue Vehicles, the use of which is perfectly symmetrical and which offers excellent storage of all the essentials, all immediately and easily accessible.

 Thus, the mobile storage gantry can be trapped in its entirety of the vehicle interior, by the play of a telescopic device with two elements, on one side as on the other, with the help of deployment means. manual or automatic allowing rapid activation.

 The invention will now be described in more detail, with reference to the single appended figure, representing a perspective view of the mobile carriage deployed outside the vehicle in which it has been integrated.

 According to one configuration, the main part of the carriage (1) with double lateral translation consists of a frame or frame (2) made of treated steel profiles, some parts of which are covered with thin sheets (3). The assembly of profiles and plates obeys efficiency requirements in the storage and arrangement of different tools relative to each other. Consequently, their relative provisions are not immutable and can be adapted to the specific vocations of the vehicles.

 In this specific case, the mobile carriage (1) consists of two perpendicular walls, the bottom (4) and the rear face (5), the two side walls (6) and (g) covered with sheet metal being triangular, the hypothdnuse of these triangles joining the two non-confused edges of the two previous faces. On each side wall, a handle (8) located in the lower part is intended to allow the user to deploy all or part of the mobile carriage.

 According to a possible improvement, the lateral translational movements can be controlled automatically and remotely by an electric motor device, either from the cabin, or directly from the carriage itself, or even from all these places simultaneously.

 The carriage is mounted on two telescopic rails (9), for example made of aluminum, sliding on ball bearings with end-of-travel locking. In a particular case, the element which slides on the platform of the truck consists of a plate (10) the width of said truck and comprising along its large sides, above and below, conventional slides (11) receiving the ball bearings arranged symmetrically under the bottom (4) of the carriage and on the platform of the truck. The carriage (1) and the slide plate (10) each have a total stroke equal to twice their own width, which is that of the truck.

 Of course, the arithmetic displacement of each sliding element in the other does not exceed half a width, the stop at the end of the travel being achieved by end of travel stops located for example at the ends of the slide plate (10) as well as in the middle, on the edges of the truck spaced the width of the slide plate (10), and finally in the middle of the carriage (1).

 Ultimately, any action exerted by the user along the axis of the slides causes the carriage (1) to slide in the upper slides of the plate (10) until it is half out, then the sliding of the plate (10) relative to the platform of the truck, causing the same movement: the trolley is then completely estrais the volume of the truck on one side or the other, depending on the direction of the initial push. Obviously, the two displacements, separated for the purposes of the description, actually take place simultaneously or almost, and they are identical with respect to the frames of reference fixed respectively to the plate (10) and to the plate of the vehicle. Thanks to the different ball bearings, the intensity of the pressure or traction force to be exerted at the origin is quite low. A more vigorous pcu pressure at the start is even enough, inertia helping, to unfold the assembly until the stop.

The cart thus deployed offers a storage portal that can be configured at will according to the applications that will be given to the vehicle. So, according to a classic example of a Vehicle
Emergency road, the gantry includes, clearly and easily accessible, a hydraulic unit, all the extrication tools, such as shears, pliers etc ... and also a reel.

 Of course, the description given above is only for illustrative purposes and should not be considered as limiting: on the contrary; the invention encompasses all variants.

Mobile trolley adaptable to all types of vehicles and intended for the storage of material to which access must be quick and easy, characterized in that it can be extracted in its entirety from the volume of the vehicle, on both sides, by means of '' a telescopic device comprising two elements of the same length equal to the width of the vehicle, movable in longitudinal translation, a plate (10) movable relative to the vehicle and allowing the carriage (1) to slide, each being able to carry out a displacement corresponding to its half -length, in both directions, with respect to a frame referenced to the element on which it is movable, said movement being limited by limit stops and caused by manual or automatic means.
