figure 1, un support d'outils avec les éléments ou outils en position de travail;
figure 2, le support d'outils de la figure 1 au cours de la manoeuvre de repliement;
figure 3, le support d'outils de la figure 1, le repliement étant réalisé;
figure 4, un exemple de la fixation d'un élément ou otuil sur son cadre porteur;

CLAIMS
1. Tool support with folding system in a practically horizontal plane, according to which the elements or tools being at work on a same line perpendicular to the direction of advance of the machine are in transport position parallel to each other, characterized in that it consists of two support frames (2) arranged in the extension of one another, pivotally mounted (3) at their adjacent ends on a frame (1) integral with or to hang on a machine tractor or pusher and pivotally carrying (5) at their opposite ends a working element or tool (4), so that during folding the supporting frames (2) perform a pivoting movement inwards and the elements or tools (4) a pivoting movement towards the outside.
2. Tool support according to claim 1, characterized in that each support frame (2) is mounted on the chassis (1) by a separate pivot system (3).
3. Tool holder according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the elements or working tools (4) are carried by their respective carrying frame (2) via a pivot system double comprising a vertical axis (5) and a horizontal axis (7).
4. Tool holder according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the neighboring ends of the support frames (2) are provided with a coupling or reciprocal drive means (8) allowing folding simultaneous of the two carrying frames (2) with their tools (4).
The present invention relates to a support for working tools with a folding system and applies particularly but not only to elements of agricultural machines.
The mechanization of agriculture leads manufacturers to present increasingly large machines. This has the advantage of significantly faster work but has the disadvantages of awkward transport, even prohibited on roads, and with the known lifting or folding systems, labor in the long and difficult fields.
The object of the invention is to provide a tool holder whose folding system is simple in construction and quick and easy to maneuver.
The folding system according to the invention applies to machine elements of large width which can be moved by an agricultural tractor, an industrial machine, a civil engineering machine or other machine of suitable type. These include seeders, fertilizer spreaders, sprayers, mowers, soil preparation machines, lawn mowers, leveling blades, etc.
In the folding system of the tool holder according to the invention, the movement of the elements for the working position and the folding for the road position are carried out in a practically horizontal plane.
On the other hand, in this folding system, the elements which, at work, are on the same line perpendicular to the direction of advance of the machine, are in transport position parallel to each other and face to face, if the elements are pulled, or back to back, if the elements are pushed.
The tool support with folding system according to the invention is characterized in that it consists of two support frames arranged in the extension of one another, pivotally mounted at their neighboring ends on a chassis integral with or to hang on the road vehicle and pivotally carrying at their opposite ends a working element or tool, in such a way that during folding the carrying frames carry out a pivoting movement inwards and the working elements or tools a movement pivoting outwards.
According to another embodiment of the invention, each support frame is mounted on the chassis by a separate pivot system.
Also according to an embodiment of the invention, the elements or working tools are carried by their respective support frame by means of a double pivot system comprising a vertical axis and a horizontal axis.
Still according to an embodiment of the invention, the neighboring ends of the support frames are provided with a reciprocal coupling or drive means allowing simultaneous folding of the two support frames with their tools.
The invention is now described in more detail on the basis of the appended drawings, by way of examples only, showing in perspective in:
Figure 1, a tool holder with the elements or tools in the working position;
Figure 2, the tool holder of Figure 1 during the folding operation;
Figure 3, the tool holder of Figure 1, folding is performed;
Figure 4, an example of the attachment of an element or tool on its support frame;
FIG. 5, another example of attachment with respect to FIG. 4, and
Figure 6, an example of mounting with coupling of the supporting frames on the chassis to hang on the machine.
The tool support shown in the drawings (Figures 1 to 3) comprises a chassis 1 to be hooked to the road vehicle, tractor or other (not shown). On this chassis 1 are mounted two support frames 2 arranged in the extension of one another to extend on either side of said chassis. The supporting frames 2 are mounted at their neighboring ends on the chassis 1 by means of vertical pivots 3. They each carry at their opposite ends a working element or tool 4 in the middle by means of a vertical pivot 5 .
In addition to a simple pivoting in a plane around the vertical pivot 5 (Figure 4), the element or tool 4 can still tilt around a vertical axis 7 (Figure 5) to allow it in the working position to follow the unevenness of the ground.
To facilitate the simultaneous folding of the two support frames 2 with their respective element or work tool 4, that is to say for good synchronization of the movement, the adjacent ends of the support frames 2 are provided with a coupling system , as shown for example in the drawings in Figure 6 by a gear system 8, and the adjacent ends of the elements or working tools 4 are provided with a rigid or extensible connection 9 (Figures 1 to 3).
The folding of a tool holder according to the invention can be achieved by various means and among other manuals, so simple is the folding system. It is obviously possible to use mechanical, hydraulic or other means and there is shown in the drawings, by way of example, a mechanism actuated by two hydraulic cylinders 10.
When the machine is at its workplace, it is deployed as shown in Figure 1 and a wingspan of nine meters is completely normal. When the machine must, for example behind a tractor, move on roads, the tool support is folded, that is to say that the carrier frames 2 are pivoted around the pivots 3 inwards and the elements or working tools 4 around the pivots 5 outwards. We then obtain a folding as shown in Figure 3 with an acceptable size on roads.
