Abstract

Tile equipped for cutting, by slicing, complementary parts of tiles, plates and similar materials for floor and wall coverings; this tile comprises a base 1 of elongated shape, provided at its ends with uprights 2, 3 supporting a crosspiece 4 with vertical mobility to support and guide a pre-incision tool 5a to perform the cutting initiation in the material placed on a platform 10 with vertical mobility and arranged laterally with respect to the cross member 4, this platform 10 being movable between a rocker stop means 12, mounted on the cross member 4 and reaction means 14 carried by the base 1 for perform the slicing of the material clamped on the platform 10, which is mounted to pivot to ensure its angular positioning around a vertical axis 11, millimeter scale rulers 19 being mounted on the platform 10 to fix and raise the desired coplanar dimensions of the complementary parts of the material to be obtained.

  The present invention relates to a tile, apparatus

  tiles, plates and similar materials

  for covering floors and walls.

  Tiles are already known which are designed to cut complementary parts of tiles by slicing,

  cladding plates and similar materials for the

  clothing for floors and walls, but their area of use

  reading is limited to the cutting of fractions of these

  reaux and the like, exclusively in the form of a quadrila-

tères at right angles.

  The main object of the present invention is to pre-

  see a tile designed and equipped to be able to

  cut by slicing complementary parts of the

  nets, plates and the like having any shape

  polygonal, even irregular or mixed line.

  Another object of the present invention is to pre-

  see a tile designed and equipped in accordance with the above goal and whose construction and use are particularly simple, for a cost price

  relatively economical if we take into account the results

  practical states that it allows to obtain.

  If we first refer to Figures 1 and 2 of the drawing, the identical elements of which are designated by the same reference numerals, it can be seen that the tile according to the invention, intended for cutting, by slicing , of complementary parts of a covering material for floors and walls, such as tiles, plates and the like, comprises a base 1 of substantially elongated shape, at the ends of which stand upright two uprights 2 and 3 which support (as indicated later in detail) a crosspiece 4 which serves to guide, along this

  crosspiece, a pre-incision tool for cutting initiation (

  crit in more detail below) in the aforementioned material for coating floors and walls in complementary parts having the desired shapes and dimensions. This cross member 4 is supported at one of its ends by the upright 2 so that it can be adjusted in height relative to the base 1 by means of a set of adjusting screws 5

  of known type and whose detailed description, therefore

R E V E N D I C A T I ON S   1.
