Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for washing and/or rinsing hair, intended particularly for use in a hairdressing salon. This device for washing and/or rinsing is characterised in that it comprises several sources of water 2 which can be oriented individually with respect to the user's head, and can be oriented with respect to one another. The invention relates to the hairdressing and hygiene equipment and accessories industry.

Description

 The present invention relates to a hair washing and / or rinsing device, intended in particular for use in a hair salon.

 The only device commonly used in hairdressing salons to bring water to the head of a subject for the purpose of washing and rinsing hair, consists of a simple shower head, provided with a grip handle, and connected to a flexible hose allowing the supply of water.

 This device of course has the advantage of being able to bring the water for washing or rinsing the hair locally and precisely, to any zone of the head of the subject to be shampooed.

 However, this device has a serious drawback, since, when in use, the hairdresser has only one free hand for applying the shampoo or rinsing.

 Another device is also known for washing and rinsing the hair, which proposes to overcome this drawback, without however achieving it satisfactorily. It is a set of hollow tubes pierced by small holes intended for the diffusion of water, and welded to each other so as to adopt a concave shape which is substantially parabolic. During washing or rinsing the hair, the concavity of this device is placed above the subject's head, so as to spray it with water, while allowing the hairdresser to have both hands free to to work.

 However, this device is not entirely satisfactory, and is characterized by an obvious lack of flexibility of use.

 Indeed, it is, by construction, relatively bulky and also has the disadvantage of not being orientable or adjustable. Therefore, during all the washing or rinsing of the hair, it is the same areas of the head which are sprayed with water, the immediately adjacent areas not being affected. This device is therefore relatively ineffective, in particular during rinsing, which must often be carried out in a very meticulous manner since it conditions the success of the continuation of the operations, in particular during coloring of the hair, or the like.

 Therefore, one of the aims of the present invention is to provide a device for washing and / or rinsing the hair, which allows the hairdresser to have both hands free for applying or rinsing the products, while providing a very good quality rinse.

 Another object of the present invention is to reconcile efficiency and flexibility of use, while retaining a modest manufacturing cost.

 To this end, the invention relates to a device for washing and / or rinsing the hair, characterized in that it comprises several sources of water which can be individually orientated relative to the head of the subject to be shampooed, and which can be orientated compared to others.

 The invention will be better understood by referring to the following description given by way of nonlimiting example and to the attached drawing in which - Figure 1 is an elevational view of the hair washing and / or rinsing device in accordance to the invention; FIG. 2 is a side elevation view of the hair washing and / or rinsing device according to FIG. 1.

 We refer to Figures 1 and 2.

 The hair washing and / or rinsing device 1 mainly consists of a set of water sources 2 intended to be placed above the head of the user, so as to cover all the areas of this.

 To this end, the water sources 2 can be individually oriented relative to the head of the user, and moreover can be oriented relative to one another, their adjustment before or during the washing of the hair making it possible to spray them with water, this over the entire surface of the user's head, and while allowing the hairdresser to keep both hands free for applying the products.

 Consequently, the water sources 2 of the device according to the invention are constituted by diffusing elements 3 and by flexible pipes 4 ensuring the connection between said diffusing elements 3 and a water pipe 5.

 Of course, the diffusing elements 3 can be of any kind and of any suitable shape, and are in particular constituted by shower heads, ramps pierced with small holes or by other sprinklers or the like.

 Furthermore, in order to give the diffusing elements 3 a maximum of degrees of freedom to allow great ease of adjustment, the connection between the diffusing elements 3 and the flexible pipes 4 can be constituted by articulations or ball joints. However, this characteristic is not mandatory in order to achieve the aims of the invention, provided that the flexible pipes 4 have sufficient flexibility.

 In addition, these flexible pipes 4 may comprise a telescopic part, in particular to optionally allow the height of the diffusers 3 to be adjusted relative to the head of the user during washing.

 It is understood that the hair washing and / or rinsing device according to the invention can be provided with several sources of water 2, their number being however limited for reasons of space or access, for the hairdresser, at his work area.

 Consequently, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, said sources of water 2 are constituted by a central source of water 6 intended to spray the top of the subject's head, and by two lateral sources of water 7 intended to spray the temporal parts of the subject's head.

 Of course, it is necessary for the operation of the device, to bring the water to the water sources 2, via a water supply pipe 5. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the water supply pipe 5 is constituted by a support weighing 8 in particular steel and acting as a support foot. The heavy support 8 comprises a transverse element 9 secured to two lateral stabilizers 10 so that the assembly assumes, in plan view, the shape of a "U".

In this way, the support weighing 8 in the shape of a "U" makes it possible to avoid the tilting of the whole device in one direction or the other, under the effect of a shock or the pressure of the water.

 The heavy support 8 is provided, for each water source 2, with a connection 11 opening into a central bore 12 arranged in said heavy support 8, and making it possible to distribute the water to the different water sources 2.

 The heavy support 8 also includes a water inlet orifice 13 opening into the central bore 12, this water inlet orifice 13 being connected to a water supply (not shown) via a flexible pipe 14.

 According to another embodiment not shown of the invention, the heavy support 8 may include a water inlet orifice for each source of water 2 to be supplied. However, in the case of a single water inlet orifice 13, the hair washing and / or rinsing device according to the invention is provided with a first tap or mixer 15, located between the orifice water inlet 13 and the central bore 12, and making it possible to establish or interrupt the circulation of water towards the water sources 2. The device is also provided with a second tap 16 making it possible to obstruct or release a flow orifice 17. Consequently, the opening of the tap 16 makes it possible to test, before washing, the temperature of the water with which the subject's head will be sprayed.

 It is clear that the fact of mounting the water sources 2 on a heavy support 8 gives the entire washing and / or rinsing device 1 a certain mobility, that is to say that this device does not is not attached to a specific workstation. On the contrary, it may be advantageous for certain specific applications to provide each work station, for example in a hairdressing salon, with a fixed washing and / or rinsing device. In this case, the water supply pipe 5 is constituted by a fixed pipe integrated in a work table located behind the subject's head.

 In order to complete the possibilities of the washing device 1 according to the invention, the latter may be provided, at the level of the heavy support 8, with an orifice 18 opening into the central bore 5 and intended to be connected, by the via a connection endpiece 19, to a container 20 (not shown) filled with liquid products, such as soap, softener or other similar products commonly used in hairdressing salons.

 It should be noted that in FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawing, the water inlet orifice 13 as well as the flexible pipe 14 for supplying water to the device, are located on one of the lateral stabilizers 10 of the heavy support 8. However, they can just as easily be located on the transverse element 9 of said heavy support 8, if the maneuverability of the assembly recommends it.

 Ultimately, the hair washing and / or rinsing device 1 according to the invention has the advantage of great efficiency and flexibility of use, and can be used by a hairdresser or any other person who can wash or get your hair wet while having your hands free, and without having to maintain a shower head or any other diffuser.

 Although the invention has been described in connection with a particular embodiment, it is understood that it is in no way limited thereto and that it is possible to make various modifications to it in shape, dimensions, materials or combinations of these various elements, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention.

A hair washing and / or rinsing device according to claim 1, characterized in that said water sources (2) are constituted by diffusing elements (3) and by flexible pipes (4) ensuring the connection between said diffusing elements (3) and a water supply pipe (5).  3. A hair washing and / or rinsing device according to claim 2, characterized in that said diffusing elements (3) are shower heads, handrails, sprinklers or the like.  4.
