Abstract

Joint element for sealing and insulation, intended to provide a seal between two panels of a curtain wall. A section 1 having a V-shaped groove carries, under its arms 6, 7, fastening ribs 10, 11 and spacers 8, 9. A plastic foam fitting 12 is fixed by means of flaps 22, 23 to the ribs 10, 11. An air-filled space 13, 14, 15 is delimited between the joint element 1 and the fitting 12 in order to provide thermal insulation.

L'ensemble du profilé 1 et de la garniture 12, constituant le joint d'étanchéité et d'isolation selon l'invention est représenté figure 3.La garniture 12 est mise en place du côté intérieur du profilé 1, par déforma tion élastique, de façon que les rabats 22, 23 viennent se loger sous les nervures d'accrochage 10, 11 D Les entre toises 8 et 9 maintiennent la garniture 12 à distance du profilé 1.
