Abstract
Description
The invention which relates to a double skin lighting panel for roofing or cladding of a building relates more precisely to a rigid frame of glued polyurethane foam constituting the frame of the panel.
In the area of roofing of buildings, it is usual to have from place to place translucent illuminating panels which are inserted among the insulated and opaque covering panels constituting the main part of the roof. However, these illuminating panels must be able to transmit daylight while retaining the same insulation capacities as opaque panels. This is why it is known to use double-skin panels, therefore consisting of two translucent plates connected together by spacers or seals which keep them spaced from one another. This transparent double wall adapts to neighboring opaque panels and the air space between the two plates allows a good insulation coefficient to be obtained.
The known double skin lighting panels, however, have drawbacks inherent in their construction. If we want to make them stiff enough so that there is no bending or deformation between two neighboring purlins to which they are fixed, it is necessary to stiffen them using metal beams or crosspieces, which makes them heavy considerably. If, on the contrary, we want to lighten them by having only spacers between the shims or discontinuous intermediate elements between each skin, we obtain elements that are not airtight and sensitive to condensation. In addition the existing panels have problems of peeling of the skins.
To avoid these drawbacks, the Applicant has developed an original technique for assembling translucent skins which gives the panel increased rigidity and solidity, while remaining light, and which gives it the advantage of making it perfectly waterproof and insulating. , without risk of peeling of the skins with their support.
The object of the present invention therefore consists of a double skin lighting panel for covering or cladding of buildings, comprising two translucent skins separated by wedges, panel according to which a rigid frame made of a material of the kind of a polyurethane foam constitutes the frame of the panel, to which the walls of the upper skin and of the lower skin are bonded, a complementary bonding stratification being carried out between the skins and on the periphery of the panel, in the same material as that of said skins, to ensure connecting them tightly and reinforcing the panels.
According to a particular characteristic of the invention, the rigid frame comprises two longitudinal beams, one beam of which is profiled in V to correspond exactly to the profile of one of the longitudinal ribs of the upper skin of the panel, as well as a plurality of crosspieces.
Advantageously, another longitudinal spar rests against a flat part of the upper skin.
In addition the crosspieces carry, in line with the ribs, wedges profiled in V to correspond to the profile of the ribs.
- figure 1 une vue écorchée en perspective d'un panneau éclairant monté ;
- figure 2 une vue en coupe transversale du panneau éclairant ;
- figure 3 une vue en perspective de l'armature du panneau ;
- Figure 1 a cutaway perspective view of a mounted lighting panel;
- Figure 2 a cross-sectional view of the lighting panel;
- Figure 3 a perspective view of the frame of the panel;
- Figure 4 a partial sectional view on a larger scale showing the attachment of a panel on a purlin.
There is shown in Figure 1, a
The translucent panel has, between these two
The panel thus produced is fixed to the
The invention is not limited to the embodiment described, but also encompasses the constructive variants thereof. In addition, the translucent skins of the panels can be made of materials other than polyester reinforced with glass fibers, and the
