Abstract

One pair of profiles (6,11) form roof longitudinal traverses, one takes the longitudinal ends of the roof, the other takes the other roof end via an articulation (66) and defines a gutter and a facade guide. A second pair of profiles (7) connects to the first pair, engages the tops of the walls (2), and have a removable profile (12) taking the roof at the desired pitch. The third pair of profiles (5) form risers and have vertical guides (5a,5b) for the walls and the facade (3). Thermally insulating transparent panels (8) are connected to each other to define the roof.

Description

The set of elements which are the subject of the invention is used for the construction of light covers such as verandas, greenhouses and other light auxiliary structures for villas, residential houses, etc.

We know that especially in countries where the climate is relatively rigid there is a large diffusion of light constructions, mostly transparent, placed against the houses, especially in correspondence with the entrances. These light constructions, normally known as verandas, offer the possibility of enlarging the area of use of a house because it can be circulated without being subjected to the action of external atmospheric agents and they also allow, especially during winter days, going out of villas or houses to enter gardens and the like without practically undergoing the action of cold and rain.

Verandas can have a wide variety of shapes and sizes, depending on requirements, and can be almost completely closed or, for the most part, open and airy.

Despite these qualities, verandas are not a constant element in the building industry which is oriented towards the construction of villas and the like because they have some significant drawbacks.

A general disadvantage can be determined by the fact that verandas have structures that are relatively difficult to assemble and disassemble and relatively complex in terms of the number of their elements. This results in fairly high costs or in any case sufficient to remove from the verandas their characteristic of auxiliary constructions and previously arranged without any particular difficulty, depending on the different situations.

A disadvantage of a specific type can consist in that the most modern verandas, that is to say those formed from a series of metallic elements supporting transparent panels, are subject to the unpleasant phenomenon of the formation of condensate at their indoors, when atmospheric humidity is high and there is a remarkable difference in temperature between the interior and exterior of the verandas.

Indeed the roofs of these are obtained by means of a series of panels spaced by metal support profiles extending from the outer surface to the inner surface of the same roof. These metal profiles are good conductors of heat and therefore they are remarkably affected by the cold outside climate, which causes the condensation of moisture inside the verandas on the faces thereof. In borderline cases this phenomenon can give rise to real drainage and therefore to the inability of the verandas.

Another remarkable disadvantage that can be encountered in known verandas is due to the fact that, when these structures have been assembled and in particular that the roof has been assembled at a certain inclination, this inclination can only be modified with difficulty and in any case adopting other profiles and partially or almost completely disassembling the structure.

Another disadvantage is also due to the fact that, although the assembly of verandas or in any case light covers of this type is not very complex, it in any case requires enough manpower since the elements used are numerous and often improvised.

In this situation, the general aim of the present invention is to provide a set of elements comprising the construction of light covers capable of overcoming the structural deficiencies and the disadvantages exposed above.

Within the framework of this general aim it is an important aim of the present invention to allow the construction of covers the structure of which is able to substantially substantially avoid said phenomenon of condensation of water vapor, being in at the same time guaranteed the greatest stability and reliability of the structure.

Another goal is to allow the construction of a universal and functional cover, being even possible to use front entrance parts or facades whose structures are with sliding leaves and to establish the desired inclination of the roof.

Yet another object of the invention is to allow the construction of covers formed of a limited number of essential elements, which is at the same time economical and easy to assemble and disassemble.

  • - au moins une première paire de profilés de base réalisant les traverses longitudinales du toit, l'un desdits profilés recevant de manière fixe l'une des extrémités longitudinales du toit, tandis que l'autre engage l'autre extrémité longitudinale du toit au moyen d'un engagement articulé et définit une gouttière et un élément de guidage de la partie antérieure de la couverture;
  • - au moins une deuxième paire de profilés de base, de fermeture des côtés du toit, et de liaison desdits pre- miersprofilés, chacun pourvu d'une aile prévue pour engager, à leur partie supérieure, lesdites parties latérales et pourvu d'un profilé amovible, destiné à recevoir de manière solidaire la relative extrémité trans versale du toit selon l'inclinaison fournie par l'engagement articulé; au moins une troisième paire de profilés de base définissant les montants de la couverture, pourvus de premiers et deuxièmes éléments de guidage verticaux respectivement pour la mise en place des parties latérales et de la façade;
These and other objects are achieved by the invention in question, comprising a plurality of profiles and panels defining two opposite lateral parts, a front part or facade and a roof, characterized in that it comprises:
  • - At least a first pair of basic profiles making the longitudinal crosspieces of the roof, one of said profiles fixedly receiving one of the longitudinal ends of the roof, while the other engages the other longitudinal end of the roof by means an articulated engagement and defines a gutter and a guide element of the front part of the cover;
  • - at least a second pair of base profiles, for closing the sides of the roof, and for connecting said first profiles, each provided with a wing provided for engaging, at their upper part, said lateral parts and provided with a profile removable, intended to receive integrally the relative transverse end of the roof according to the inclination provided by the articulated engagement; at least a third pair of base profiles defining the amounts of the cover, provided with first and second vertical guide elements respectively for the installation of the lateral and facade ties;
  • - A series of panels, of thermally insulating material, connected to each other by interlocking and defining the roof of the roof.

D'autres caractéristiques et avantages ressortiront plus clairement de la description détaillée qui suit d'une forme d'exécution préférée mais non exclusive de l'invention illustrée à simple titre d'exemple non limitatif en se référant aux dessins annexés, dans lesquels: - la figure 1 est une vue globale en perspective partiellement exploitée d'une couverture mise en oeuvre en utilisant l'ensemble d'éléments objet de l'invention;

  • - la figure la montre les détails A représentés sur la figure 1;
  • - la figure 2 montre en coupe des portions de toit de la couverture représentée sur les figures précédentes;
  • - la figure 3 montre un système original de couplage réciproque entre les différents panneaux formant le toit, mis en oeuvre en alternative à la figure précédente;
Other characteristics and advantages will emerge more clearly from the following detailed description of a preferred but non-exclusive embodiment of the invention illustrated simply by way of nonlimiting example with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Figure 1 is an overall perspective view partially exploited of a cover implemented using the set of elements object of the invention;
  • - Figure la shows the details A shown in Figure 1;
  • - Figure 2 shows in section the roof portions of the cover shown in the previous figures;
  • - Figure 3 shows an original reciprocal coupling system between the different panels forming the roof, implemented as an alternative to the previous figure;
  • - Figure 4 is a partial cross section of the front and upper part of the cover shown in Figure 1.

The set of elements in question essentially comprises a plurality of profiles capable of engaging in a removable manner both with one another and with panels by means of screw connection elements. Said profiles, of metallic type, and said panels as a whole form two lateral parts 2, a front part or facade 3 and a roof 4.

Essentially the set of elements provides for a first pair of base sections 6 and 11 constituting the longitudinal crosspieces of the roof, a second pair of base sections 7, for closing the sides of the roof and for connecting the sections 6 and 11, a third pair of base profiles 5 defining the amounts of the cover for the positioning of the side parts 2 and of the facade 3 and a series of panels 8, made of thermally insulating and transparent material, reciprocally connected by interlocking and defining the roof of the roof.

In particular, the base profile 11 receives a longitudinal end of the roof and exactly the end intended to be attached to the wall of the building. It is practically a "C" profile provided with a groove intended to contain a seal 111 on the roof located below. The base profile 6 which can also be in one piece, consists practically of three elements capable of being connected to each other in a removable manner. A first element 61, which is the carrier element, has a substantially rectangular section, possibly reinforced inside, at the top of which there is a longitudinal groove 66a in which engage by interlocking appendages 66b of corresponding slats 66c capable of engage in solidarity with the roof panels 8.

The longitudinal groove 66a ultimately performs the articulated engagement 66 in order to define the most appropriate inclination of the roof. A second element of the pro spun is the element indicated at 62, of "U" section, which forms a gutter 6a and can be applied to said first element by longitudinal interlocking. The element indicated in 63 is the third and last element; it has an inverted "U" cross section and produces a guide element 6b of the front part 3. In particular the third element 63 has branches of differentiated length and a pair of grooves 63a and 63b intended to receive the seals of a facade 3 with sliding leaves. The introduction of the leaves will take place on the side of the shortest branch of the element 63. Apart from the positioning of the element 62 determining the gutter 6a of the cover, the profile 6 can be replaced by the profile 11 and vice -versed. In this way the variation in slope of the roof can be determined in correspondence with the profile 11 instead of that of the profile 6.

The profiles indicated in 7, another pair of basic profiles, serve to close the sides of the roof and connect said profiles 6 and 11. Each profile 7 is provided with a wing 7a intended to engage, at their upper part, the lateral parts 2 and of a removable profile 12, quite similar to profile 11, intended to receive in a solid manner the relative transverse ends of the roof, according to the inclination provided by the articulated engagement 66.

These sections 12 are also provided with a groove 11a intended to contain a gasket 121 on the roof located below.

According to a preferred embodiment shown in the figures, the cover in question comprises only a pair of base sections 5, as uprights of the cover, provided with first and second my guide elements 5a and 5b respectively for the positioning of the side parts 2 and of the facade 3. The side parts 2 will thus be engaged at their upper part to the wings 7a of the base sections 7 and on one side to the vertical guide element 5a which, in this case , is formed of a single wing. It is obvious that if the side part 2 is of the type providing a support frame for one or more panels, as shown in FIG. 1, the side parts 2 will be fixed by means of common screws which will secure the frame of the parts lateral with the wings 7a and the guide elements 5a. If, on the contrary, the lateral parts 2 simply comprise panels without frames, we will use common sections of the window-fixed type.

It is obvious that the cover which has just been described is of very simple and universal assembly, since it makes it possible to define the inclination of the roof which is chosen by the user and which can be varied according to the needs. An important characteristic specific to the present invention is also that of using a roof completely devoid of metallic elements which can cause the formation of condensate inside the roof.

In this aspect and advantageously as well as originally, the roof is obtained by a series of panels re hereinafter nested together according to what is illustrated in FIG. 3.

Each panel 8 is in fact composed of at least three layers of insulating material from the thermal and transparent point of view and is provided with longitudinal ribs perpendicular to the pair of profiles 6 and 11. Each panel 8 has, on one of its sides end, a pair of milling 88 formed parallel to the ribs 89, located between two ribs 89 consecutive end and in correspondence of the upper 91 and lower layers 92 of the same panel.

On its opposite side, the same panel 8 provides for the partial removal of the central layer 90 there to separate the first edge rib 89 into two opposite portions 89a and 89b. These portions are intended to engage in the corresponding milling 88 of a panel disposed next to the first. In this way we obtain a reciprocal interlocking between panels of the same material without the need to use other profiles which are decidedly inadequate if constructed of metallic material, because of the formation of condensate which could occur at inside the covers. In addition, a system of this type automatically creates a series of chambers 70 for water flow, defined at their lower part by the layer 90 and at both sides by the ribs 89, in correspondence with said milling 88 of each panel. It is obvious that in this way the panels in question can ensure a good watertightness without even the need to use fittings.

An alternative, moreover slightly more expensive, could be that shown in FIG. 2. In practice, this involves using slats 9 of the same material as the panels 8, of "H" section and intended to receive by interlocking, on both sides, a pair of corresponding panels 8 at a time.

In the case of roofs of a certain size or when it is necessary to stiffen the roof even more, the roof must be supported using auxiliary metal elements. In this case one provides for the use of a last profile 10 for auxiliary roof support arranged between the side parts 2 but below the panels 8, so as to avoid in any case the problems due to the formation of condensate.

The invention thus conceived achieves the aims.

It is obvious that structural modifications using equivalent technical elements do not depart from the scope of the present invention and that the materials, the shapes and the dimensions can be any according to requirements and needs.
