Abstract

The invention relates to a container of the type of containers with a capacity of 3 to 5 cubic metres, intended to receive waste and provided with lateral sleeves for being emptied into chutes of mobile, front-loading collection compactors. The container is characterised in that it consists of a rectangular parallelepipedal box 1 which is truncated at its top front part, on the loading side. At the top part, the container comprises a horizontal emptying cover 2 and a slanting emptying cover 3. A wide opening 9 is provided in the slanting cover 3 in order to permit the loading operation.
