Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif de lecture optique comprenant une source d'émission d'un faisceau lumineux 2, un moyen de séparation 28 pour diriger ledit faisceau lumineux émis vers la surface d'un support d'enregistrement 24 et séparer un faisceau réfléchi, renvoyé par la surface du support d'enregistrement dudit faisceau lumineux émis, et un moyen de détection photo-sensible 25 apte à recevoir au moins une partie dudit faisceau réfléchi. Selon l'invention, ce dispositif se caractérise en ce que ledit moyen de séparation 28 a une fonction de diffraction d'un faisceau lumineux incident, et ledit moyen de détection photosensible 25 est placé en un point où il peut recevoir un rayon de diffraction ayant un numéro d'ordre sélectionné dudit faisceau réfléchi. Avantageusement, le moyen de séparation est constitué par un réseau de diffraction ou une lentille holographique. Application aux appareils de lecture optique d'informations enregistrées.
