Abstract

PURPOSE:To use semiconductor laser without selection by inserting an aperture in order to adjust laser light condensed on a disk surface and light flux penetrated into a photo detector to obtain noise correcting signals so as to distribute the light in the same distribution range. CONSTITUTION:A part of the light radiated from a semiconductor laser 1 is condensed by a light spot 16 to read out data on a disk 17 and the reflected light flux is converted into an electric signal by a photo detector 21. To reduce the noises of the light source, a noise correcting signal 10 is fed backed negatively to the semiconductor laser 1. An aperture 23 is installed in order to adjust the 2nd light flux penetrated into a photo detector 8 for obtaining the noise correcting signal 10 so as to distribute the light flux 24 in the same distribution range B' as that B of the 1st light flux 6 which is penetrated into a focusing lens 15.
