Abstract

PURPOSE:To omit a half mirror from the entitled device and reduce the output of a semiconductor laser by fetching a noise correcting signal from light flux other than the one penetrated into a condensing lens out of the light radiated from the semiconductor laser. CONSTITUTION:A part of the light radiated from a semiconductor laser 1 is condensed by a light spot 16 to read out data on a disk 17 and the reflected light flux is converted into an electric signal by a photo detector 21. Light flux which is not condensed by a condensing lens out of elliptically radiated light flux is received by a photo detector 23, its output signal is amplified by an amplifier 9 and the amplified output is fed backed negatively to the semiconductor laser 1, reducing the light source noises of the semiconductor laser 1.
