CONSTITUTION:A part of the light radiated from a semiconductor laser 1 is condensed by a light spot 16 to read out data on a disk 17 and the reflected light flux is converted into an electric signal by a photo detector 21. Out of the light flux 4 incident upon a polarization beam splitter 11, the light flux 23 penetrated into the splitter is received by a photo detector 8 and amplified by an amplifier and its output 10 modulates the semiconductor laser 1. A closed loop system consisting of the semiconductor 1, a collimater lens 3, the polarization beam splitter 11, the photo detector 8, and the amplifier 9 is so constituted as to be a negative feedback system, reducing the noises of the semiconductor laser.
