Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a focusing sensor which is unified with a lens, by providing a convex lens at the area near the outer edge part of the incident parallel light flux to an objective lens that focuses the beams onto an information carrier. CONSTITUTION:The beams radiated from a semiconductor laser 21 are made parallel to each other by a collimator lens 22 and condensed on an information disk 24 by an objective lens 23. The reflected beams go backward to be made incident to the laser 21, and the information is detected by the beams emitted from the laser 21. While the parallel beams are condensed by a small-sized condenser lens 26 like a fiber lens attached at the outer edge part of an attachment metallic parts 28 and then made incident to the disk 24. The reflected beams from the disk 24 are condensed on a 2-split photodetector 27 attached to the parts 28 and via the lens 23. In such way, a focusing sensor 27 which is unified with the lens 26 is obtained.
