Abstract

The prefabricated element for constructing intersecting perpendicular archways comprises an L-shaped vertical post (1), the upper end of which extends into diverging arcuate parts (2,2'). The arcuate parts define symmetrical bearing surfaces (3,4) which merge along the median line (5). When correctly positioned in groups of four, the elements form intersecting archways which can be attached to an existing building or used as a building in its own right. The elements act as immovable shuttering over which concrete is cast.
