Abstract

The folding caravan incorporating a number of fitments such as cupboards, has two side panels (8a,8b) a front panel (7a) and rear panel, which when folded inwards to a horizontal position, allow the roof panel (10) to be lowered to a level of about a third of the height. To allow a panel (8a) at one side to swing down a cupboard (14) hinged about a point lower than the panel hinge point is first swung down to a horizontal position with its door side resting on the floor (41).
