Abstract
Procédé de production de fibres optiques, et notamment de fibres optiques monomodes. La partie intérieure au moins du tube 2 utilisé est en verre avec un constituant réduisant l'indice de réfraction. Le tube est chauffé de façon qu'une partie du constituant diffuse à travers la paroi intérieure du tube. Le tube est ensuite étiré en une fibre optique 3.
