Abstract

Le mécanisme amplificateur hydraulique comporte un plongeur de poussée 152 comprenant un élément cylindrique extérieur 138 dont l'extrémité intérieure est fixée au piston 42 du dispositif de manière à coopérer avec ce piston. La tête du plongeur est logée de façon coulissante à l'intérieur de l'élément de poussée et est reliée en vue d'un entraînement à une pédale 158 de freins. De ce fait, on peut modifier dans le mécanisme amplificateur de force le rapport entre la pression amplifiée et la réaction hydraulique sans aucun changement important de la structure de l'appareil. Le mécanisme amplificateur permet également d'augmenter le rapport entre la pression amplifiée et la réaction hydraulique en utilisant un élément de poussée extérieur qui peut protéger la tête du plongeur contre la réaction hydraulique. La tête du plongeur peut donc être plus mince qu'une tete de plongeur classique et permet une augmentation du rapport précité.
