Abstract

La présente invention décrit un procédé de préparation d'alcoxy-alanates de métaux alcalino-terreux consistant à faire réagir un alcoolate d'un métal alcalino-terreux avec un alanate du métal alcalino-terreux et un alcoolate d'aluminium, la réaction étant du type additif. Ces composés correspondent à la formule : MØAlH4-n (OR)n õ 2 dans laquelle M représente un métal alcalino-terreux; OR représente un groupe alcoxy d'un alcool aliphatique, cycloaliphatique ou aromatique, primaire, secondaire ou tertiaire; le radical R pouvant être non substitué ou substitué par un groupe amino ou alcoxy, et n est un nombre compris entre 1,5 et 3,5. Utilisation des produits obtenus comme catalyseurs efficaces pour des réactions de réduction, en particulier pour l'hydrogénation d'un certain nombre de composés organiques.
