Abstract

L'invention concerne une résistance électrique chauffante du type blindé. Cette résistance comporte un fil chauffant enrobé dans un isolant de céramique qui interdit la déformation thermique du fiL Le fil chauffant consiste en un fil à base de nickel-chrome portant un revêtement riche en aluminium qui forme une couche d'alumine de protection contre l'oxydation. L'invention s'applique notamment à des résistances de chauffage de tubes contenant du sodium fondu dans des piles surrégénératrices.
