Abstract

The prefabricated space frame has nodes (1) and bars (12) connected by a link (6) which has a collar (10) and two different diameter bodies (7, 9) with opposite hand threads. The straight bar tubes (12) are closed by sprockets (13) held by a circular band of weld. The sockets are of the same diameter as the large body of the connector. The node has geometrically opposite threaded holes (3) chamfered (2) to press against the chamfer (8) when the connector is screwed home by the nut (4). This then returns along its thread to tighten the connector to the bar.
