Abstract

The joint enables a tubular construction to be built, the tubes being positioned in any direction. It comprises a hollow spherical nut (1), with threaded holes (7, 8) over its surface. The tubular member (2) has a cap (3) welded in each end, having a central hole (3b) for a bolt (4) positioned axially with its head (4a) inside the tube. The external portion of the bolt has a hexagonal nut (5) welded a distance back from its free end. This is screwed into the spherical nut to tighten. Another hexagonal nut (6) on the threaded end forms a back nut; this is tightened onto the cap to lock the structure.
