Ce moteur comporte un passage de transfert 32 reliant chaque cylindre 10 à une chambre d'amorçage d'inflammation 20, sensiblement toroïdale, dans laquelle fait saillie l'extrémité 26 de l'injecteur de carburant, laquelle comporte quatre gicleurs 30 répartis angulairement, et qui est coaxiale de l'axe de génération de la chambre, lequel est perpendiculaire à l'axe du cylindre.
