Abstract
Procédé de production d'un copolymère séquencé propylène-éthylène en soumettant du propylène et de l'éthylene à une polymérisation en trois étapes en utilisant un catalyseur de polymérisation stéréospécifique, caractérisé en ce qu'on effectue première étape de la polymérisation en introduisant du propylène seul ou un mélange de propylène/éthylène tel que le rapport de réaction éthylène/propylène soit de 6/94 ou moins, en polymérisant ainsi 60 à 95% en poids de la quantité polymérisée totale; on effectue la polymérisation de la seconde etape en introduisant un mélange propylène/éthylène tel que le rapport de réaction éthylène/propylène soit de 41/59 à 69/31, en polymérisant ainsi de 1 à 20 % du poids de la quantité polymérisée totale; et on effectue la troisième étape de polymérisation en introduisant de l'éthylène seul ou un mélange propylène/éthylène tel que le rapport de réaction éthylène/propylène soit de 90/10 ou plus, en polymérisant ainsi de 4 à 35 % en poids de la quantité polymérisée totale, chaque étape de polymérisation étant effectuée en discontinu. Ce procédé donne des copolymères séquences propylène-éthylène ayant un bon équilibre des propriétés physiques et optiques.
