Abstract

Cette invention concerne un tracteur comportant des roues avant motrices à entraînement mécanique. Les bandages pneumatiques avant de ce tracteur sont surdimensionnés et les roues avant ont un angle de chasse de valeur élevée. Il en résulte que la roue avant appropriée s'engage sous le tracteur lors d'un braquage au degré maximum, de sorte que les bandages pneumatiques ne viennent pas heurter la caisse du tracteur, ce qui permet d'obtenir un rayon de braquage plus petit. L'angle de chasse est compris en genéral entre 11 degrés et 30 degrés , la valeur optimum étant de 13 degrés . Un agencement de ce type est utilisable notamment sur les tracteurs agricoles.
